A breezy global chic scarf? It has taken me three years to finally get one that was made in the Middle East and is the real thing. I am a major activist for Palestine and getting one was important to me for all the right reasons. Although an old lady in a Kuffiyah does stop people here in my small town, that was not my purpose. Lotta Zionist supporters where I live it seems. Pffft, I like my scarf. It keeps me warm in the winter... bet it covers my hair and keeps me cool in the summer too. I just saw them in all sorts of colours too. Ugh. The only "other colour I liked was seeing a few Irish in a green and white, but they have serious solidarity and support for Palestine and have their own ongoing occupation to deal with.
