A common refrain in the media, and a question among some of my friends, is where are the moderate Muslim voices? I hope it does not surprise anyone, but just because you don’t see it in English does not mean it does not exist (MEMRI is shall we say, a tad selective). Just because it does not get a lot of press does not mean it does not exist. A good example was when Tarek Fatah set the record straight about the history of Muslims/Arabs in World War II. By the way, if you have not seen Days of Glory about an Algerian regiment fighting for the French in WW II I highly recommend it. The movie had such an effect on President Chirac when he saw it, he changed government policy for the veterans.
In a similar vein many of Pakistan’s biggest pop stars came together to sing a song speaking out against terrorism that has become a huge hit in that country. Here is the video with translations for those that don’t speak Urdu.

Where are the moderate voices on this blog? Why are you taking credit for what other people do and say? Why not show us? Are any of the bloggers here Muslim? Show us some “moderate Muslim” rhetoric. All I see here is militancy.

Please do. A google search for that phrase yielded zero hits. Maybe you misquoted.
The IDF targets militants. The militants hide among civilians. That makes civilian collateral damage much more likely. Again, the blame for that is largely on the militants.
If Israel fought as indiscriminately as the Palestinians and Hezbollah, they could kill thousands a day. They certainly have the ability. Yet you all scream “atrocity!” at a handful of civilians killed when militant leaders are clearly being targeted. And you blame Israel 100%. Arab terrorists get a complete pass from Kabobfest.
