funny.. but i’m curious as to how you welcome (or perhaps not?) the numerous clueless palestinian activists — is there strength in numbers or are only people who consist of more than “looking for a cause to latch onto” (i.e qui qui, no offense) welcomed with open arms?
Take, for example, the British ISM “activists” who died for Palestine by murdering three and wounding 50 Israeli civilians in a homicide bombing against Mike’s Place in Tel Aviv.
We can all throw cheap shots to discredit one another. If you think you’ll get somewhere that way… well, you haven’t lived long enough.
The Save Darfur campaign is naive, counterproductive, even. In its composition are well-meaning but spineless leftist groups with no real understanding of the situation on the ground. Its failure to date demonstrates the bankruptcy of moral certitude – and a rejection of military options – in imposing stability on geopolitical reality.
As with any ethnic conflict, the choice is clear. We must pick a side, support it militarily and accept the slaughter of the opposing forces until their will to fight subsides. This is the natural state were we never to have intervened – our only role can be to further or reverse the natural course of this conflict.
The final outcome will be autonomy or independence for Darfur, as with Kosovo.
Whether this can be achieved without exterminating Khartoum’s barbaric Janjaweed militia proxy remains to be seen. From reports, it sounds like they’ve earned some good ol’ American carpet bombing.
This blog is disgusting beyond belief. I have met Darfurian refugees in Israel myself. There are hundreds of thousands in Egypt. You can even see the destroyed villages on Google Earth.
Forget about whether Israel is bad, or Palestinians are bad, or whatever. What does that have to do with Darfur? Do these people deserve to die simply because they could possibly detract attention from the Palestinians?
An Arab-league government is sponsoring their genocide. The least you Arabs can do is acknowledge that they exist!
Someone essentially assist to make severely posts I’d state. This is the first time I frequented your web page and so far? I surprised with the research you made to make this actual publish incredible. Magnificent process!

Posted by Anonymous | November 25, 2007, 7:34 pmThe difference is that activists for Palestine often actually go to Palestine to try and help and sometimes die for it.
