I just received an unofficial copy of Abbas's speech at Annapolis. I could not get past the first page. He refers to Bush as "Your Excellency" then heaps mountains of praise on Annapolis, which he says "symbolizes liberty." Anncrapolis is home to the US Navy. For most people in the world it symbolizes oppression and destruction. For Abbas, it symbolizes his liberty to be an entry-level dictator with an American stamp of approval.
Ah, the sweet nothings of statecraft. Perhaps this Abbas charm offensive will sweeten up the powers that be into giving Palestine true sovereignty... ha ha. How many sleepless nights did his speech-writers lay awake, trying to craft the perfect compliment?
Diana Butto, a former top Abbas aide with insight to the man's undeniable charm, told the Washington Post: Abbas "wants a peace process, but he does not care about the details or the substance so much. I don't think he has a strategy for liberating the country."
Okay, so he'll take anything his sweet words can get. So what? Little does she understand the power of Abbasshole's groveling!

This post is another fine example of why people laugh when Will, PSMers, and ISMers are described as "peace activists."
"Peace" activists against peace.
Awesome.
Exactly anon 12:14. All these PSM/ISMers care about is liberation. Why can't they just accept peace and submission?
Anon 1:49:
Congrats, you just joined Will in his position as the Arab version of a Frank Gaffney:

You all deserve eachother.
I hear Frank Gaffney also brushes his teeth. Does that mean we're all Frank Gaffneys? That's how stupid your logic is Anon 1:58.
I know it might be difficult for someone as dumb as you to understand, but one can oppose Annapolis, yet support peace. If you suggest otherwise, you're no different than Bush and his binary (with us or with them) logic. One doesn't need to support submission, settlements, occupation, and denial of basic rights in order to support peace.
Will,
It was awesome to see you on tv last night!

I guess I just have to say congratulations to you again, but this time for demonstrating why you and your movement, such that it is, have accomplished exactly nothing.
Only someone with such a steller track record, such as yourself, (or someone with a mental disability) would reduce rank intransigence and hyperbole to "brushes his teeth."
You have more in common with someone like Gaffney than poor personal hygiene, including both having no say or relevance as to what happens in the Middle East.
Since you both want perpetual conflict, that turns out to be a very good thing.
Well anon 5:56, you too have no say or relevance as to what happens in the Middle East, so I guess you've also classified yourself in the Gaffney camp.
Do you not understand yet why your logic is flawed? There are more than two camps; again, enough with the Bushist binary logic... it's juvenile and stupid.
