It is with tremendous sadness that I announce the end of an era here at KABOBfest. Long gone will be our excellent photoshopping works and sub-juvenile humor (which he abandoned in late 2007 anyways).
Sadly, Nadeem will no longer be blogging with us. Though he left us on good terms, we cannot divulge the reason. Instead, we will offer you several possible explanations for why he’s leaving the fest:
a) to spend more time with his family.
b) to join the Mitt Romney campaign as an adviser on Taybeh affairs.
c) to devote more time to important theological matters.
d) we voted him out.
e) he finally had enough of Fayyad’s spelling errors.
f) the “Zionut” “MoFESTers” (both KF trademarks) drove him out with their endless stream of nonsensical apologetics and mindless talking points.
g) to work as Chaim Sugarman‘s administrative assistant.
We will miss you Nadeem.
Nadeem designed this poster for our 2000th post. For complicated reasons pertaining to the shortcomings inherent to our “Arab mind” (and a plethora of incomplete “DRAFT” posts) we could not determine which post was our 2000th — so we will assume this one is. Enjoy this genius poster and share it with your friends, enemies, and frenemies.

Damn, that was the reasonable one.
I suppose you’ll replace him with another token white brat. The future of Jewish-Palestinian dialogue is a Jew sitting across from a German Irish terrier mix sporting a keffiya, discussing the future of Judea and Samaria.
Posted by Victor | January 10, 2008, 9:27 amnadeem was a white dude?
Posted by Anonymous | January 10, 2008, 9:31 amI meant that he will likely be replaced by one, given that all the recent writer additions to Kabob have been white.
There is a similar trend across the Pali activist scene; Electronic Intifada is a good example – last I checked it was rare to find an article by an Arab.
The word verification pic for this comment is 8 “z” letters in a wavy motion. I’m special.
Posted by Victor | January 10, 2008, 9:44 amNo no that just means your a BORE!
Posted by Anonymous | January 10, 2008, 9:47 amGood one! *Eyeroll
Given that you felt the need to comment on it, however, I’d say we’re in the same boat.
Posted by Victor | January 10, 2008, 9:53 amBut who’s going to keep us current on foxyone1986′s latest ode to God’s precious gift of The Arab Male? And won’t Foofy be despondent without his buddy? A moment of silence please. OK, that’s long enough.

Posted by Nadeem's number one fan (in retirement) | January 10, 2008, 10:15 amVictor do you have a job or simply sit online harassing bloggers? Seems like a pathetic life.
Posted by Viktore | January 10, 2008, 10:36 amhey victor i feel left out dude-you haven’t accused me of being white yet.
Posted by Mohammad | January 10, 2008, 12:49 pmWait….”all recent additions are white”?
If by “all” you mean ONE person then, right on!! (equalling a grand total of… one white contributor).
“not that there’s anything wrong with that”
Posted by LONG LIVE NADEEEEEEEM!!!! | January 10, 2008, 12:50 pmSad news….bye bye Nadeem.
(How about a ‘where are they now” segment every so often?)
Posted by nev | January 10, 2008, 1:12 pmNadeem is considering a third-party run for the whitehouse.
Posted by Eduardo | January 10, 2008, 3:46 pmHe’s been given an internship at the ATFP?
Posted by Diane | January 10, 2008, 5:40 pmMy sadness that additions to the “Nadeem-bashing” KABOBcategory will cease is overwhelmed only by the realization that I never Nadeem-bashed to my full potential.
Lub u Deemy. :*(

h) It was too hard working in the same cyber environment of the love of his life, who dumped him because of differing comedy tastes, and who still continues to blog with kabobfest.
It was too hard for him to wake up, write a post, attempt to attach post labels and tags, and see her name there, as a reminder of what once was…
