Regarding the French (and Palestinian dual nationality- you left that out, BBC!) national convicted of verbally insulting King Abdullah of Jordan, a new story as of this morning has appeared in the Jordan Times covering the event. It was written by Rana Husseini. (who else?)

And Muslim women really need someone like you to come and help them. Maybe you can make their societies just like yours, and then they will never, ever be at risk of being raped, beaten, or murdered by anyone, strangers or the closest person in the world, especially not in Israel.

Hey, it’s not my fault that if you had grown up in an Arab Muslim family they would have disowned you (if not killed you) years ago, Safiyyah.
