I am writing this only because our comments section is being filled with publicity for a pointless blog set up by a disgraced former KABOBer, Buydatti. Now, he is blogging under the name, "Programmer Buydatti," (the "programmer" moniker he stole from a Zionut commenter on this site -- showing where his new allegiance is).
He set up a blog, KABOBfestWATCH to apparently attack and ridicule KABOBfest. Clearly, this is a laughable mockery that only demonstrates why we released him in the first place: he is a juvenile, pestering wackjob.
He invented some elaborate story, or rather, conspiracy theory, about why he got kicked out. It is pure fiction as I make clear in the comments section of his post. I want to clarify this without him dragging in the other KABOBers (so they can continue posting). His attacks have hurt a number of them.
While I am flattered that we deserve to be "watched" -- an honor usually reserved for people with a vast readership -- Programmer Buydatti is clearly off the deep-end and approaching, in my book, collaborator status. Already, he has proven to be just one more KABOB3rs -- an oppositional rascal commenting away in our comments sections.
He is clearly not working for any cause other than pure vindication, and has only destructive, petty ends in sight.
He is clearly clever and very creative, which is why I originally invited him on, but those same positive traits are now being used to no good end. It is best you, our readers, ignore him. And we will continue grilling the absurd.

Maybe it's time to educate your misguided readers. Here's the statement:
After a brief seven-post stint on KABOBfest, I was abruptly and unjustly removed from the blog by Will, the site’s uncircumcised Canadian pseudo-Arab ringleader. While he claims that my dismissal was the result of “creative differences about the future of KABOBfest,” it was actually the result of his childish jealousy over a woman -- who, interestingly, also writes for KABOBfest. In an attempt to humiliate me and subsequently win her attention, Will invited me to write for KABOBfest only to berate me with ad hominem attacks over the site’s listserv. After realizing what his true intentions were for inviting me to blog for the site, I exposed his juvenile plan to the woman in question and firmly demanded that he apologize. Instead, he responded by removing me from KABOBfest and allowing our private feud to spill out onto the site –- humiliating me in front of both family and friends.
I now write for KABOBfest Watch, a blog dedicated to exposing the misinformation that Will and his rabid gang of self described “activists” spread about America, Israel, and the Arab World. Now we’ll see who’s humiliated...
By the way GENIUS, you spelled WHACK JOB incorrectly! Perhaps if you spent as much time reading as you do "wack"-ing it, you'd be a better speller.

It does nothing for the image of Kabobfest to give space to this sort of Facebook-style preteen slam session, the particulars of which are of no interest to anyone but the principals.
I know that the 'Fest runs a wide editorial gamut, from semi-fluff to real reportage, but there's something unseemly about running this silly business alongside stories of the carnage in Gaza.
Just my opinion.
