The above is a recreation of the framed image at the Sheikh Hussein/Jordan River Valley Crossing. Jordan has a silly rule that you are not allowed to take pictures of any police anything, even their little huts. So you'll have to do with my approximation.
It was a faded image of police in RIOT GEAR charging towards the viewer, with the words "JUSTICE FOR ALL: Constitution of the National Police."

jordan is a joke of a state. the dictator of this state likes to dress in fairy tale costumes embellished with grandiose jewelry and color and awards that he has bestowed upon himself, and he likes to call himself a king, king over other human beings. how ridiculous is that? does his wife also like to dress up like barbie or snow white? iran 1979, jordan tomorrow.
"jordan is a joke of a state."
As a resident – not a national – of Jordan, I'm not going to disagree that the current direction of the country is cause for considerable alarm. Particularly as it's being nicely aided by the US military industrial complex – arms QIZs, Blackwater everywhere, weapons fairs, etc – and an endless parade of pan-Arab real estate junkies from Beirut to Dubai...
The sad truth is, there isn't really an Arab, living in the region, who can't say exactly the same about their own country.
So, Salma, what's your point....? Kings, princes, presidents and politicians are generally odious and corrupt...?
Don't think I'm holding the front page for that revelation.......
Yes, all are corrupt, decadent, oppressive, violent crooks...
...but come on!!!!! a KING??? I mean, what kind hilarity is that? What does he think of himself at night when he puts his head on the pillow to sleep and remembers quietly one last time that he is a KING!!? Does he laugh or cry?
"Does he laugh or cry?"
No, he prays his stock portfolio in real estate projects goes up.....
