I think it’s more newsworthy entertaining to see that Fox News, its managers, producers, anchors and body language experts (is there an intern in the house?) have never heard of or seen anyone give daps.

Cal Thomas originally called it a “Hezbollah style fist-jabbing” in a column he wrote. When he realized his own ignorance, he removed the reference from his column. Of course, there is probably nothing more pathetic that a columnist can do than editing after publication to save face. Also, even if such a fist pound was something uncommon, I’m not sure where he gets “Hezbollah style fist-jabbing” from.
