No, I have a problem with hilariously bad usages of ebonics. And yes, “Kabobfestwatch is Tyte!” qualifies as ‘hilariously bad usage’. Not to mention that like certain phrases like ‘da bomb’, ‘tyte’ has probably been used in enough bowling allies by middle-aged white guys with beer-bellies and Richard Karn facial hair that it has become a sort of ‘anti-ebonics’, like matter to anti-matter.

Okay, Occam’s razor time. Explain how the following options:

1) Degrees are just plain really easy to get these days. Grade inflation, lowered expectations and whatnot.
2) She earned her degree like anyone else, and she just so happens to disagree with you.
3) The things she studied were a specialty (degree programs have become increasingly specialized over time) that didn’t really require her to have the basic knowledge you consider relevant to the debate here.

Your comment was blatantly sexist, plain and simple. It takes a lack of balls to make sexist comments, but it takes an especial lack of balls to be a little weasel about it when you’re called on it.

(As for the roots of QuiQui’s opinions on this topic, my best guess is option #2 above, tempered with a bit of #3.)

1. Well, they were funny at my Jewish day camp. I don’t follow the links back here.

2. You have a poor understanding of hosting. You prepay for bandwidth, and only pay more when you have a traffic burst, say from a link from the drudge-report or something. With the depraved idiots and content here, I highly doubt that will happen soon. Secondly, they have ads for generating profit here on this anti-capitalist site (haha), so less traffic equals less clicks on the ads and a lower google ranking.
