Today, one of our bloggers Narcel X, posted his last entry for us. Entitled, “Kabobfest Down,” he announced his voluntary departure and stated his disappointment in KABOBfest.
Admittedly, we can be juvenile and have too much fun with serious subjects, but I can think of no other way to stay sane and retain our humanity. At least our humor is somewhat subversive. We do not aim to offend for the sake of offending.
Also, some of the comments we get to our posts from readers are rude and insulting, but they always have been and we decided not to censor them — for the same reasons we do not censor his post. We believe in open discourse.
However, we were taken back by the suddenness of Narcel X’s resignation. He never commented before on anything he raised in his last post. That is why KABOBers are completely surprised by what he wrote. Had he felt this way, he could have easily raised it with us as a group or with individuals he knows personally.
Some might argue the Bushies are saying that about Scott McClellan. However, we, unlike the Bush administration, do not silence dissenters and punish opponents. That is why we elected to keep his post up. And we welcome anyone to comment on that or this post.

Does this mean that Narcel X will be coming out with a tell-all book in a couple of years — when it will all be too late?
