Today I want 2 share my feeling

SHALOM! Ichulim! Today I am deciding to write because I am very anxious feeling over this country’s failing to pass a bailout bill for banks and corps.

As to many might know I am working for my zaide who is a big macher (CEO and primary shareholder) at Sugarman Financial Industries which is big international work with America and Israel and sometimes France too. Because our business nature we come to provide subprime mortage loans, Dead Sea salt, and often very sharp knives to foreign immigrants presiding in the Northern Virginia district so that they can live in the American dream. (mostly mexicans)

But then financial crisis ensues and president candidates (go Obama!) promised to pass a bailout for the safety of our endeavors. But then I am shocked to listen that it fails in the House and simultaneously the dow drops 777 points in the trillions of dollars! What is this? Can you believe the chutzpah? This is very disturbing because my family was hoping this would save our company and I can afford to buy rosh hashana gifts for all of my friends. But now how can I afford to? Oi vai iz mir!

This is a crisis and I am very certain we need a bipartisan solution that can save our companies and my grandfather’s business. Because if he loses it than how can we have more money? Sorry I needed to uncharacteristically vent. It is not usually my nature but so it seems things have come to pass in these trying times. Ok, ani tzarich lalechet achshav.

Barchot veTefillot,

~Chaim~

New news: Fox just tells me there will be more votes after bipartison compromise! Baruch Hashem!

  1. I totally agree with you. What we need is a no-nonsense bipartisan solution. I hope debacle hasn’t hurt your grandfather’s business too much.

  3. I still think this is basically anti-semitic, and sadly it works to discredit the rest of the site. “Jew-face” isn’t funny, any more than pickaninnies were.

  4. The only Antisemitism I see here is you, Joe, accusing Chaim of not being a real Jew. What does he have to do, shove his circumcised penis in your face for you to accept him? I bet you’d like that.

  5. Sigh. Anonymous, when you’re done being cute about it, doesn’t jew-face strike you as even the tiniest bit anti-semitic?

  6. Oh, and the latent homophobia of the “I bet you’d like that” just jumped out on me. I’m not gay, but what if I were? Would that somehow make me less right about this, and you more right? Is there now something bad/wrong about being gay?
