UnNews: When Muslims Are Attacked
The title does not refer to their paranoid, fanatical obsession with Muslims, but it should.
Muslim children were sprayed with a chemical irritant at a Dayton, Ohio mosque. The horror of this hate crime, barely captured by the Dayton Daily News, lies in it acute hatred, targeting people praying. The main victims were children, some of whom went in to shock and had trouble breathing. Many of the congregants are refugees from war-torn areas in Iraq, and an attack such as this strikes too close to home.
Now they have seen that America has its share of terrorists (A Somali man I met told me that DC is more violent than Mogadishu).
Is it mere coincidence that this attack comes after the “Obsession” DVD was distributed in the area? It just may be, and hopefully the policy investigate this vigorously enough to give us an answer.
This alarmist, Islamophobic video has been sent to swing states by a shadowy non-profit, the Clarion Fund. It is claiming to have sent 28 million copies. Most of the recipients will recognize it as the hate-ridden drivel it clearly is; but others may be inspired to secure the homeland and attack the enemy within — and this senseless attack may be one such case.
Interestingly, none of the mainstream media have covered this story. Perhaps if a Muslim committed a parallel attack at a church or synagogue, it would be newsworthy. What ever happened to the “man bites dog” theory of media interest? Perhaps we should update the adage to reflect the modern ethnogeography of violence: “White man attacks Muslims, that’s not news. But when Muslims attack Whites, now that’s a story!”

Like an endorsement from Glenn Beck or any of those clowns makes it intelligent. You can call a turd a golden apple, but it’s still a turd.
I found out today about the mosque incident and the DVD. I’m still appalled but not surprised. I’m certainly not proud of America at this very moment.
Can’t say I have looked at that video, it may or may not have untruths, but there is no way to gaurantee some nutter will not react violently to something they see or read, short of never saying or writing any critical at all.
Here in the UK a few were attacking Sikhs after the tube bombings. Everyone knows all Muslims wear turbans! There are a lot of dimwits about unfortunately.
I think you need more than one incident to draw conclusions. As for the bias, that’s human nature, I bet you get similar anywhere.
I heard about the attacks via the mainstream media. So I think you’re wrong when you say “none”.

I have been promoting the idea that Dubya unplug Washington DC on his way out, and move the whole mess to Salt Lake City.
However, after perusing your article, I have another location now in mind: Mogadishu.
