Fox News continues its hard-hitting coverage of the Rashid Khalidi story with this report showing that the Columbia professor actually goes out for groceries, and in fact, takes the elevator in his apartment building.
Fox deserves credit for going after a story everyone else thinks is irrelevant bullshit. They clearly understand that what may or may not have been said by a speaker at the professor’s going-away party years ago is a national issue. Voters must be informed about this pressing news item at the center of this year’s presidential election.
With two wars, an economy in crisis, worsening health care system, wide-ranging environmental concern, and a broken immigration system, Hannity and Colmes zero in on the really important matters with a laser-like focus, even going to the extent of planting an overtly polite reporter in the lobby of Khalidi’s building. They spare no cost in the pursuit of truth.
Kudos to Fox News for its critical watchdog journalism. “Hannity and Colmes” can now replace “Woodward and Bernstein” as lexical shorthand for responsible, investigative reporting in the national interest.

Keep up the good work, Fox. It’s a dirty, sleazy, disgusting job akin to scraping dried shit off a day-old cadaver’s ass with a salad spoon, but somebody’s got to do it.
Posted by Sean | November 1, 2008, 3:00 pmI can’t believe that Fox (and majority of arrogant Americans) are stupid enough to Professor Khalidi to “terrorism”. Why not have Iraqi and Palestinian reporters chase around Army Generals and see what type of response they get. Good for Khalidi in snuffing that biligerent reporter. Fox news is becoming more of a joke!
