Shocking! KABOBfest blogger Fayyad, who has been curiously silent of late, was spotted in a photo of a recent McCain rally. In the wire photo, Fayyad is seen in the crowd smiling, even as anti-Jeninite Senator Joe Libberman graces the stage.
This confirms suspicions first raised by KABOBfest’s Minister of the Interior and chairman of the KABOBfest Ideological Purity Committee, Chaim Sugarman, about Fayyad’s political allegiance. Noting his high salary and recent business school coursework, Sugarman at first speculated Fayyad was developing Republican sympathies — an observation further supported by Fayyad’s increasingly flashy wardrobe and flaunting of high end name brands (as well as his longstanding interest in golf, which he no longer justifies by pointing out that Che played golf).
After carefully parsing his latest posts (not worth linking), Sugarman sensed an alarming, underlying conservatism in his tone — a bias often disguised by poor grammar and perpetual misspellings. This disturbing photo offers conclusive evidence — unless he was merely on a date with the woman next to him, a legitimate possibility.
Fayyad could not be reached for comment. Sugarman, whose own presidential campaign received no support from Fayyad, was more-than-a-little pissed.
If Fayyad’s appearance was not just part of some romantic pursuit, the McCain campaign will have to answer for receiving public support from a former PLO spokesman.
