Kuwaiti Parliament Circle Jerk

By Fayyad

So the herd of wankers in the Kuwaiti Parliament just forced the government to tender its resignation. You know why? Because they deemed the Prime Minister responsible for allowing another wanker, an Iranian scholar, who they accused of maligning “God and the friends of prophet Mohammed” to enter the country. Good thing he skipped Prophet Mohammed himself, or somebody’s bloody embassy would have gone up in flames.

Ironies abound; the parliamentarian nut jobs did not actually demand the cabinet’s resignation, rather, they requested the PM for questioning. The latter resigned the government as an easier way out. You never know where questioning might lead.

Secondly, somehow this is the most important issue in Kuwait now. In a country where women just broke the voting barrier, with much to go towards equal rights, foreign workers are abused like modern-day slaves, vast segments of the native population are not recognized as citizens by the state, and therefore do not qualify for any services or dividends, a visit by an adversary nut job seems to take down the government.

In the anesthetized parliament, it seems like only God’s rottweilers awaken on occasions, when God is so… what’s the word? Ah…defenseless.

More ironies from the vindictive bastards; perhaps anticipating some public scrutiny, perhaps just being vindictive bastards, the request to question the PM included “the worsening public services, rampant corruption, and the wasteful spending of public moneys.” Here you have it folks, they had noticed these problems, but they did not care to bring them up until the PM stepped on God’s toes and they can punish him with them.

Not to mention their Emire and government’s contribution to the ongoing atrocities being committed in Iraq or turning a blind eye to those being committed in Iraq, Sudan, or elsewhere.

I hope they spend the next session doing something important, may be ban yoga.
