It’s truly shocking that, after all of Hamas’ attempts to make peace, Israel would treat them this way. Even during the Hudna (or “rearming period”), Hamas continued to faithfully launch their Rockets of Peace into Israel. And more recently, fearing that that wasn’t enough, they dramatically increased the number of Aerial Peace Offerings delivered.
But it wasn’t enough for the Zionist dogs. They treated it as if it were an act of war, exactly the opposite of what was intended.
Well, it’s good to know that Hamas will not let the suffering of the Palestinian people deter it from continuing to escalate the Acts of Peace. That’s how important it is.
Happy New Year, Palestine!
Posted by Roy | December 29, 2008, 8:11 amYou mean during the truce, the Israeli’s continued to fire missiles, further tightened the blockade, and stepped up gestapo activity in the West Bank right?
Roy, its not funny anymore ok. People are being massacred and you have the audacity to blame the victim. You are on the level of a holocaust denier at the moment.
Posted by Super Sayyin | December 29, 2008, 11:46 amYou mean during the truce, the Israeli's continued to fire missilesYes, in the same way that Hamas continued to fire rockets in their continual collective punishment attack on Sderot. It wasn't a truce, it was a period of reduced violence.People are being massacred and you have the audacity to blame the victim. They're not being massacred. They're being killed in a war. That's what happens in war. It's inconceivable that you are not aware of that. And it is a war that was started by Hamas' deliberate actions.Hamas isn't the victim. But they are getting what's coming to them.
Posted by Roy | December 29, 2008, 8:14 amIsrael didn’t fire missiles at the Gaza strip during the “truce”. They hit West Bank targets. The West Bank was not part of the “truce”.
Rockets and other acts of war did come from Gaza.

Uhm.. did you not read the truce? The West Bank was a part of the truce. Furthermore, Israel conducted multiple F-16 raids against Gaza during the truce. On top of that, the embargo tightened. The embargo was so bad during the last few days of the “truce” that their was virtually no bread in the strip. No bread Roy, no milk, no gas, nothing.
I highly doubt the end of rocket fire from Hamas or any other group in the Gaza strip would have stopped the Israeli’s from going on with their genocidal rampage in Gaza.
The West Bank fires no rockets yet Israeli forces kill people their every day. Israel just wants the democratically elected government of Palestine to crumble so that they can continue negotiations with their puppet Abbas from Fatah.
Israel does not want a one state solution where Palestinians and Israeli’s will live side by side as equals.
Nor does Israel want to give up its spoils of war from the 67 war.
All they are willing to settle for is setting aside tiny enclaves in the West Bank, choked from their natural resources, surrounded by checkpoints and completely subservient to Israel. Wait.. that sounds a lot like the current occupation of the West Bank.
In effect all Israel seeks is a complete legalization of what they are currently doing. Hamas refuses to go along with such a solution while Fatah and their cronies are willing to sell out.

Are you under the impression it was a signed agreement?
Got a link?
