The genocide is a failure. After the lackluster rate of 100 or so a day for the first three days, the rate has slowed so that only about 400 in all have been killed after a week.

This is pathetic. Israel should be dropped from Division 1-A Genocide. It's gotten to the point that Gaza can just ignore Israel's futile actions, the same way Israel should ignore Hamas' minimally damaging (but vitally important!) rocket attacks. We've reached a new status quo. Hopefully, the Gazans are pretty happy, now. They've achieved with their rockets pretty much all they've ever had the hopes of achieving. You know, resoluteness.

@Sword: it's really more like an asylum for homicidal maniacs than a prison. With that in mind, you might get an inkling of why Egypt doesn't want them to escape.

I really-really don’t care what the Arab States do or don’t do. It has nothing to do at all with Palestinian self-determination, or the conditions in Gaza.( And please do not confuse Palestine with Gaza prison. There’re 7 million Palestinians outside that “prison” and doing extremely well. Of course once they move out, they cannot return, because Israel does not recognise their right of return.
conclusion:
let the Palestinians return home.

This is far too optimistic. As best I can tell, the fact that many other Arab states and leaders take a dim view of the Palestinians as a people (except as a persistent thorn in Israel's side) is also a major factor.

Would that it were otherwise, but hey, there it is.
