Joe “The Plumber” Wurzelbacher on Israel getting hit by Hamas rockets:
“They can’t plan their day, they can’t take a picnic.”
OH NOES! NO PICNICS FOR THE ISRAELIS?!

Another gem:
“I don’t think journalists should be allowed anywhere near war…Media should be abolished from reporting.”

can’t plan their picnics? ya, well they sure seem to have no problem standing near the border and watching the genocide.
Posted by Anonymous | January 12, 2009, 12:20 pmInteresting:
One week before Hamas broke the truce [...]. As part of the contacts organized by my hosts, I visited the Wolfson Medical Center to learn about the program “Save a Child’s Heart.” I was very moved. It is a foundation devoted to providing heart surgery for very poor children, most of them from the Arab world. As it happened, I witnessed the hurried arrival of a tiny 5-day-old girl, who had to be operated on at once to keep her from dying. She was brought in by her mother, a woman in a black head covering that allowed me to see only her tear-filled eyes, and her husband, a small, bearded man who watched with amazement the indescribable kindness with which a group of doctors and nurses treated the baby. The family came from Gaza.
Posted by Roy | January 12, 2009, 12:40 pmThey should try having picnics on the beach in Gaza. I hear the view is spectacular…
Posted by Keith | January 12, 2009, 12:41 pmUnder international law, Gaza as an occupied entity is the responsibility of Israel.
They better be tending to the wounded in that strip.
Posted by =P | January 12, 2009, 1:27 pmIsrael broke the Truce, not Hamas.
1. Attack on Gaza, November 4th which killed 6
2. Persistent failure by Israel to respect the terms of the ceasefire and ease the siege on Gaza.
Posted by OrwellianUK | January 12, 2009, 1:48 pmI wonder if Joe the plumber recognized any of the piping the rockets are made from.
He could probably assemble a more powerful arsenal with one trip ti his local Home Depot.
Posted by Will | January 12, 2009, 2:21 pmAs a Palestinian, I am so eternally grateful to all that is holy in the world that Joe the Idiot is on the side of the Israelis. Thank the good Lord above that he doesn’t support Palestinians. It speaks volumes that he is the type of blind moron Israel attracts.
Can’t have a picnic??? Heaven forbid. Those children in Gaza… they don’t their lives, they don’t have their limbs, they don’t have their parents, they don’t have their homes, they don’t have food or clean water or medicine.
But hey, as long as we can ensure that Israelis have their picnics, all is right with the world.
“Media should be abolished from reporting.” Well, enlighten us, Joe the Thinker, what the hell becomes of the media when it can no longer report? I’m with you only if Fox News is the first station abolished.
But I do give Joe the Idiot credit for one point: Israelis “don’t care,” according to Joe the Moron.
You’re right, Joe. Israelis don’t care: they don’t care about violating international law; they don’t care about children dying; they don’t care about anything but themselves.
Good point!
