PALESTINA LIBRE! Action for Palestine on the basketball court

I received a wonderful e-mail forward this morning:

One more small action, one more tiny voice, we will never forget Gaza!

Yesterday night, the Israeli Maccabi Basketball team played against the Barca team (Barcelona), a game part of the EuroLeague 2009. It took place in Barcelona – Catalunya.

The Maccabi team is known for its support of the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF). Three of its players visited the soldiers at the Gaza border during the recent bloodshed against Palestinian civilians.

In a response to that, 9 people jumped onto the basketball court shouting pro-Palestinian slogans and carrying Palestinian flags before they were dragged out by “security” forces and the police. At the same time, the public was chanting “Palestine Palestine” while they applauded and lifted banners in solidarity with the Palestinian people and their struggle for freedom. Many people waved Palestinian flags and booed the Israeli team.

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IgLLIT2MbBE]

The 9 activists who jumped to the court suffered a few punches from the “security” personnel and the Police, and were held for a bit more than an hour. Their details were registered by the police and later passed to the representative of the Mossad (the Israeli foreign secret services) who was present on the spot. The activists might face fines up to 600 euros per person. Later The police escorted the activists out of the stadium, where they joined a Palestine-solidarity picket line.

Leaflets explaining the action and the situation in Gaza and Palestine were distributed inside and outside of the stadium along with white balloons with “Boycott Israel” and “Solidarity with Palestine” written on them.

Viva Palestina Libre, Viva la lucha del pueblo palestino (Long live free Palestine – long live the struggle of the Palestinian People)

  1. Yawn.. Funny how this nonsense makes the news when reports of Hamas stealing UN aid from their own people isn’t mentioned at all on Kabobfest.

Also, interesting how KeeKee puts “security” in quotation marks.. She’s so hardcore revolutionary!

Lastly, it’s amazing that KeeKee knew that there was a Mossad rep right there on the Basketball court! I mean, I thought I was the only genius who knew that Mossad agents love catching a game of Euro Basketball!!

  2. I was there, it was awesome!!!!

  3. To the first commenter:

Did you know that in MY city’s airport (Barcelona), the mossad has the right to ask ME: Why I’m travelling to Palestine? (the fuckers get you into a room for hours, asking the same stupid questions!!) in MY COUNTRY! not Telaviv!! Not in bloody Israel!**

**(When we asked the government council, they told us that there was an agreement from the Aznar (SOB) presidency, allowing the mossad to question on spanish ground, before travelling to Israel)….

Of course the mossad was at the Basketball court, this movement against Israel was all over the web for days (specially indymedia) so they had to be there.

Again: Will never forget the Crimes against Humanity, against Palestine!!!

    Saludos.

  4. I’m Programmer Craig, also known as Programmed Crackhead. I like to juggle zionuts in my mouth…and support the murder of Palestinians, because I hate them because they are not jewish.

  5. The US is too deep in bed with the Zionists, but we need to start protest movements in Europe and elsewhere around the world to get Zionist terrorists that are referred to as “security” people banned from Europe. They shouldn’t be allowed to question anyone, track anyone, or received any cooperation from any European police or intelligence forces. Force them into hiding.

  6. Did you know that in MY city’s airport (Barcelona), the mossad has the right to ask ME: Why I’m travelling to Palestine?

Of course the Israelis have a right to question you when you are traveling to the occupied territories. Just as the british have a right to question me when I am traveling to the UK. How stupid are you? And is it normal for people to be that stupid, in spain? Or is it just you?

  7. PC:

Hehe, of course I’m the only stupid person in Spain. Nice to meet you. Now you can tell mom and dad, Im sure they’ll be proud of you.

I see that you’re sort of a “troll” in this website. So not worth it to even try to explain, that a secret service from ANOTHER country has no right to question me IN MY COUNTRY (that’s why I mention Telaviv) I guess they didn’t tell you that in your “howtobeagoodzionist” curses.

    Sigue así chavalote.

    Bye.

  8. Now you can tell mom and dad, Im sure they’ll be proud of you.

Why? Because I met a stupid spaniard? Dude, I live in Los Angeles.

I see that you’re sort of a “troll” in this website

You only say this because you don’t know how this blog works. It’s a “the lunatics are running the asylum” type thing. Stick around, you’ll catch on.

that a secret service from ANOTHER country has no right to question me IN MY COUNTRY

But, of course, they do – when you seek to enter THEIR country, which is what you described. Would you rather they just denied you entry?

  9. And in case you are especially dense, ask some Arabs living in the middle east whether or not they have to talk to another nation’s “intelligence” officers when they travel to Europe, or the US. Then you will have a clue about how such things work.

Or do you think that just because you have a Spanish passport, that gives you special status, now? I’m a whiteboy American Christian, and I can’t even travel to Israel without a visa… which means I also need to talk to a “Mossad” agent here in the US (MY COUNTRY!!! as you say) if I wish to go there. Which I don’t. I’m just saying…

  10. So, anyway, Sumud… tell us about yourself… have you ever been charged with a class F felony?

  11. Sorry PC, I think you’re confusing me with your mother. xDD

Cachis! I forgot rule number one:

    Do not feed the troll!

See you in another life, bro.

  12. PC, I think Samud is QuiQui.

She had a Jewish boyfriend? I remember a post about her lighting a menorah for chanukah a couple of years back. I thought she was the Jewish one.

  13. QuiQui, how many Spaniards did you have to sleep with to get us this scoop?

  14. Complete silence and complicity by Kabob for Hamas crimes. I overheard Will say, referring to the Gazans, “Resistance forever. And the people? Let them eat dirt”.

  15. PC, this wife of yours, I’d suggest spending more time with her, if she exists, and less time cyber-stalking an internet stranger who happens to not be a batshit insane Zionist. Does your wife know you invoke her profession just to get a petty potshot on a random blog? Boy you are a sad bastard. Grow up and maybe someone will take you seriously for once in your life.

  16. The tide is rising. As European citizen I cannot understand why any privileges at all are given to such a racist genocidal regime as Israel. Recently public upheaval managed to derail an upgrade of EU-Zionist agreements but we still have to witness the day when Maccabi cannot play in Barcelona the same that South African teams could not in the past.

But the day will come and will come soon. As the Zionazi regime is more and more unveiled in its true nature (by its own genocidal dynamics) and public pressure mounts up, the parliaments and governments of the EU will have to sideline their contacts and agreements with the Zionazis and these will be cornered in their hopeless fortress of murderous greed and arrogance.

We all know that without foreign support the Zionist colony cannot survive. So let’s keep up the fight and banish them from everywhere, until they are also banished from Palestine too.

Every non-Arab and non-Muslim should be forced to read and analyze that statement, over and over again, until they comprehend what you are suggesting.

  18. Not only do I hate palestinians Muslim and Christians, because they are not jewish and not only do i juggle zionuts in my mouth, daily, but I’m also a crazy stalker. Your truly, Programmer Craig.

  19. Muslim and Christians are Jewish: Judaistic, Yahvistic, creatd from the same proselytistic effort that created Rabbinic Jews. They are all the same brainwashed and uprooted kind, believing in myths that are not properly their own.

Palestinians are, if anyone, doubly Jewish because they look like the only ones who can claim local ancestry (so-called Jews are mostly of Anatolian ancestry) and additionally most of them are ideologically Jewish (Christian, Muslim, Rabbinic Judaistic).

Assume your Hellenic (and other diverse) roots, people, and stop being the puppets of this absurd neocrusade. The best that the Judaic ethnos has given to the World were and are their Humanists.

So change your bible (mikra, torah, quran) for Spinoza’s “Ethics” or Marx’ “Capital”. Become human and stop killing your cousins on some “holy graal” pretext like a mere dog.

    Posted by Maju | February 8, 2009, 12:44 pm
  20. Maju,

I don’t know what you’re talking about. Nobody is killing anyone’s cousin for any “holy graal” pretext like a dog. My people are being controlled by an entity that, inter alia, forbids them from living free, arbitrarily confiscates their lands and homes, imprisons their sons and daughters and murders their children. The entity, Israel, also denies them citizenship and equal rights under the law.

So, why don’t you trade in your bitter anti-religious rant and look at the fact of what is going in Palestine, to the Palestines, by Israel and discuss, accordingly.

Programmed Crackhead, someone asked about you the other day by the way…you know who? Answer: Deeeeez, Nutz!!!!

  21. I’m talking about Israel and Zionists, Yasser. You got me wrong.

But “my bitter anti-religious rant” is way too real: all West Eurasia was Judaized by the hand of Christian, Rabbinic Jewish or Muslim sects. And that sucks.

    Posted by Maju | February 8, 2009, 1:45 pm
  22. I think everyone in Palestine should be killed (both Jew and Palestinian) and another people should come to possess the land. Give it to the Native Americans or some African Tribe. That way, all the fighting will stop. Does anyone agree with me?

Just trying to find a “just” solution

  24. “”Palestinians are, if anyone, doubly Jewish because they look like the only ones who can claim local ancestry (so-called Jews are mostly of Anatolian ancestry) and additionally most of them are ideologically Jewish (Christian, Muslim, Rabbinic Judaistic).”"

‘Claiming local ancestry’ is perhaps the single shittiest idea ever devised for determining who gets to live where.

This is cheap blood-and-soil fascism, plain and simple.

  25. ‘Claiming local ancestry’ is perhaps the single shittiest idea ever devised for determining who gets to live where.

This is cheap blood-and-soil fascism, plain and simple.

It’s a central pilar of Zionist ideology and a fallacious one. It is good to counter such claims with real data.

Obviously the natives do have a preferential right, not based on remote ancestry but on who was living there when the colonialist aberration was imposed.

The only fascism here is Zionism, which is outright racist colonialism founded on most feeble mythological claims (and yes: the brutal power of high tech genocidal weaponry).

"Viva Palestina Libre, Viva la lucha del pueblo palestino"
it should be del peuplo palestino (Pueblo is a village in Spanish as attested in Pueblo Colorado)
