http://www.linktv.org/embed_ff/419Announced as the Grand Prize Winner of the One Nation Many Voices Online Film Contest” “Arab in America” by Nabil Abou-Harb. “Arab in America” chronicles the journey of an American-born character named, “Osama Ahmed Abou-Bakr” and his plight to find a job in America’s post-9/11 atmosphere.

The film aims to be entertaining and informative. While some of the jokes draw on standard Arab-American comedy fare, there are a few novel references. For instance, his secret identity cracks when he draws “The Prophet Mohammad” during a pictionary game.
