Diab is well known in Egypt for Ghamazat. The song was released about 5 years ago now, but this video clip is definitely new. The song is cute, and I feel the clip is more comical than trashy. I wish I could say the same about the El 3ow clip...but I don't know what to expect from a country in the midst of a culture clash.

Conservatism is obviously taking over the arts in Egypt. What was more or less accepted as sensual (professional singing and dancing, the "cabaret", etc.) is now severely restricted or illegal. Counterculture to increased conservatism includes increased sexuality in the arts. Artistic standards are lower all over the world, but Egypt is also in the midst of a cultural u-turn. Unimaginative and overtly sexual crap might be Egypt's last hurrah.

I think it's Pure Trash and the song is just like any other Egyptian song such as like the ones Shabaan Abdel Rahim started in the late 2000's look how Arabic Music has now become. I miss the old days where Music Videos weren't as Trashy and the Music was really good. Just my 2 Cents...

hahahahahahahahahaha can't stop laughing from the post hilariously and truthfully noted. And whaaa there's a lot of legs and ass on those videos, not sure the video would have the same appeal if they had the same amount of men dancing in hot shorts all the leg hair eeewwww. But really, just to prove a point I think Haifa/Ruby/Diana?myriam...etc or any woman singer should have semi naked men dancing around her with big zooms on the ass and torso

Pardon me, I did watch the video clip.
This is trash and not an art.

Arab artists can find other positive things in the West to emulate.
Depicting women acting and sounding like dogs is demeaning and insulting.
I truly missed listening to real and genuine Arab artists, such as: Fiaruz, Um Kulthoom, Fareed, Abdulwahab, and Abudul Halim.

Artists like Diab, you can put in the trash can and put the lid on it. That is my two cents.
