Rush Limbaugh vows to move to Costa Rica if health care reform legislation passes. Goodbye Rush! America is better off without Limbaugh.
The radio talk show host has been trash talking the president before he made it to the White House. He also attacks all of the president’s domestic and foreign polices, and prays for the the president to fail.
Rush has always preached to his listeners that our president is a Muslim and was not born on U.S. soil. Therefore, according to Rush, he is not trustworthy and not qualified to be president.
Will Limbaugh carry out his threat and move to Costa Rica ? I am not holding my breath. He will be surprised to know that he still has to pay 5.5 % of his income for social security which in turns pays for universal heath care in Costa Rica.
One thing Limbaugh doesn’t have to worry about in his “self-imposed exile” in Costa Rica is that he does not have to smuggle in his supply of viagra as he did at Miami International Airport. Perhaps it would much cheaper and more readily available in his newly adopted country.
After all, America will be a kinder and a gentler nation without this bigot, who refers to people with special needs with the “R” word.

And BECAUSE he paid cash- his bill was 40% less than it would have been-had it been handled through insurance.
Rush said that he want the president's socialist POLICIES to fail.
And, ufortunately, as far as I am concerned-he has not become embroiled in the Mooslim issue- although he did say that Obama and God had one thing in common-neither one has a birth certficate.
So get your facts straight, listen to the radio show instead of regurgitating what you get from the lamestream media- and get to know a media "tweak" when you hear one.

People who are paying cash for medical services are actually more involved with the bill. For example, a doctor may prescribe a more expensive medicine is insurance is paying. And doctors routinely order more unnecessary tests when insurance is paying.

That statistic is not "anecdotal evidence." Do you even know what the term means? The statistics I cited based on a study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, one of the country's most conservative peer-reviewed medical journals, and which is cited on the page I linked to. The Journal of the American Medical Association report you linked to was written by Barbara Starfield, MD, MPH and it doesn't say that treatment in U.S. hospitals is a leadiing cause of death, such as cancer, heart disease, accidents, ect.
Errors do occur in hospitals, and things can go wrong, that is why these things are addressed. In some places this sort of things is covered up, but not in the greatest country in the world.
So you can dig up each and every little thing that goes wrong. But you obviously don't comprehend that a government take-over of healthcare will cause the quality of care to deteriorate, not improve. You just don't get it, do you? You bought the lie.
You see, the leftists want more people dependent on the system, more people dependent on entitlements. They think that is a way to guarantee power for the left forever. Who will ever vote for someone who might lessen an entitlement? If you get enough people dependent, you will always have more votes. That's also why they want to bring in as many illegal aliens as possible and give them amnesty… to get votes. There is a process to go through for citizenship, and many people follow the rules and go through the process… is it fair to those people if others cheat and cut in line, coming into the country illegally? Should the cheaters who cut in line then be rewarded with citizenship ahead of those who do it the right way? Of course not. It's not right, but the left don;t care, all they care about is power.

The way healthcare is NOW is not working!! I have a cavity that I cannot afford to fill, I am unemployed, Cobra does not cover me, I do not have credit because I am in the hole from Doctor bills, and I want Obama;s health care. I cannot afford to fly to Costa Rica, I barely can afford the 5 dollar bus fair to go to the Dr… There are three things that a Great Industrialize Nation like the USA should have. It should have Socialized healthcare, Socialized Schools, and better public transportation.

He had an addiction to Oxycontin and engaged in illegal "doctor-shopping" and drug-seeking to obtain multiple, concurrent prescriptions for the drug, which is a federal crime. That makes him a "junkie" in the traditonal sense of being addicted and engaging in criminal behavior to support the addiction. Richard Paey was sentenced to 25 years in prison on scarcely credible evidence that he did the same. Now I don't support anyone being imprisoned for drug addiction or drug abuse, including Rush, but Limbaugh does:

Rush Limbaugh is not a "draft dodger"
He avoided the draft by claiming to have an anal cyst. This claim was not based on a medical exam by the draft board, but one he provided by his own doctor. A pilonidal cyst did in fact disqualify you from the draft then as now, but it is also a readily treatable problem that can usually be corrected with minor surgery. Both my brother and I have had them. The problem was that Rush, being an aggressive and loud-mouthed supporter of the war, used the issue of an easily-treatable cyst to avoid military service, when he could have elected to get the condition treated and join the military anyway.

I lied about my asthma, which disqualified me from military service, to join the Army and become a paratrooper. I had a guy in my unit who lied about having heart murmurs, despite the fact our highly aggressive paratrooper training could have easily killed him. Other people have lied about their age or other issues that disqualified them from military service, but Limbaugh pathetically fell back on a cyst to avoid serving.

Most people are against Obama's huge debts, and his trying to take more and more control. The country is swinging back to good old conservative values of fiscal responsibility and freedom. The liberty to PURSUE happiness, not a guarantee of happiness, just a guarantee of the freedom to pursue it. Americans don't want the government telling them what procedures they need or don't need, and when they can have them – that is between them and their doctors. There are reforms that can bring down the costs such as putting a cap on malpractice payouts so doctors' insurance costs are lower, lowering the operating costs so the prices patients pay will be lower. And eliminating the bans on buying insurance across state lines, so there will be more competition and prices will be lower. The govt take-over monstrosity actually raises costs, and also puts all kinds of new taxes onto things like medical equipment (higher taxes, a liberal's best friend). It raises costs and lowers quality. Is that what you want? You seem so concerned about the condition of care, after all (you don't give a rats ass about health care, you are just promoting it for socialism's sake). Sorry pal, America is not socialist, and the people have rejected the take-over. The lefties are trying to force it anyway, we should see them fail in a few days. If it doesn't fail, then court challenges begin because the govt cannot mandate that all people buy a product (health insurance). The mandate is in the bill. By the way, the Virginia state legislature just passed a law banning mandated health insurance, and it got a lot of democrat support there. Interesting. Face it, this scheme will never work.
