Most suicide bombings today are illegitimate because the target civilians and non-military targets and kill innocents (like most of the suicide bombings in Iraq or Afghanistan today) however, there are some that are legitimate like that suicide bombing by a Jordanian purpose who was a double agent and blew himself up in an American base in Afghanistan killing i think 7 CIA officers and 1 Jordanian intellegince officer of the treasonous Jordanian regime. That suicide bombing for example, is completely legitimate since it attacked an OCCUPIER ... and especially since no civilians were killed/targeted.
