Though he misses the mounting evidence that Israeli commandos were firing on to the ship before they landed, a possibility that would have taken place before, and caused, the melee on the IDF tape, Uygur makes some good observations about the laughability of the American proposal that Israel investigate itself, and demonstrates the criminality of the Israeli blockade of Gaza.

Humanitarian supplies are an existential threat to Israel, akin to nukes in the hands of Kim Jong Il. Israel has a right to defend itself by any means necessary from children's toys, blankets and medicines that are used to construct the world's ultimate WMD: the rock-throwing Palestinian child. Israel exercised admirable restraint in this matter. What other nation on Earth would have stopped shooting at civilians after just 100 casualties? What other nation would launch a "full and impartial investigation" of its own actions, or express "deep regret" over the "unfortunate loss of life" in this "terrible tragedy" while simultaneously promising to take off the kid gloves next time?

I mean I just saw the video he linked to and these guys had a couple sticks and slingshots, so I am not sure how that justifies murdering 9 people. The Israeli assholes were approaching them while in International waters and throwing stuff (the flotilla folks kept on ducking) . I think the Israeli pieces of shit were expecting to be greeted with flowers and candies for attacking the ship illegally. I know I would have. In fact, I would have helped the Israeli shits by drawing a target sign in the shape of a heart on my body and thanked them profusely for tazering me while descending. I love how they draw circles around the so called "weapons." So f'ing pathetic. Plus all eyewitness accounts indicate that the Israelis started shooting before boarding so I am not sure how this is relevant. Perhaps what is really is trying to say is that these highly protected and armed commandos saw the sticks and slingshots and were afraid of getting a booboo so they started firing before descending on the ship. Actually we all know that they would have started regardless because that is Israel's MO, shoot first, investigate self later, exonerate always.
But poor moe feels so sorry for the sad helpless Israeli murderers. I think we should all applaud moe for this irrefutable evidence, I mean, really, I saw this and thought wow those are some pretty threatening guys and, Israel, who had no right to board the ship, must have acted in self defense by shooting them.
