I fully agree. These people need to worry about problems caused by Pakistani terrorism rather than sucking upto the Palestinian muslims. Israelis are helping Indians in anti terror operations. Indians need to be grateful for that.
Doubtless there are some Indians, although the number will never be anything to crow about, who would take the same stance that was taken by some Indian sycophants in the Mughal courts, and some Indians who took delight in being subservient to the British.

This is a great movement. As world opinion, and the BDS actions, so strongly affected South Africa's apartheid laws, I hope this movement will finally open the eyes of even more Israelis to change their government to one which will then change the oppression and genocidal behavior toward Palestinians.

BTW, the Facebook site has prohibited any page name with "Palestine" or "Palestinian" in it. ??

Not going to happen. While Indian leftists may be sympathetic to the plight of the Palestinians, it does not come up on the radar for the man on the street. When you discuss terrorism with them, they are more likely to talk about when Pakistani terrorists attacked Mumbai, or Maoists sabotaged a passenger train.

School is still out for the summer. But the boycott-Israel movement is going strong in food co-ops nationwide: http://dearbornboycottsisrael.blogspot.com/2009/0... Starting September 1st, many divestment and boycott campigns should be filling up the campus newspapers. Thanks to Berkeley, UC San Diego, and Evergreen State College for all that momentum!
