I would like to ask the writer where he was and what kinds of protests he undertook while 300,000 Hindu Pandits were forced to leave the Kashmir valley – they had as many rights as the people he described who died or were injured at the hands of the military.

I am not defending the excesses conducted by the Indian military but the one sidedness of the "moral police" makes me sick.

If you want to protest about Kashmir as a whole then FIRST make sure that the valley is safe for these 300 THOU Hindu Pandits to move back to their homes.
