BDS

Snubbed

Actors Meg Ryan and Dustin Hoffman canceled their participation in one of Apartheid’s major film festivals. BDS is here people… people are boycotting because they are concluding it’s the right thing to do on their own, not when they are approached by activists.

Very soon this will be all the “cultural” activities Israel has to offer.

  1. … because Meg Ryan is so relevant. It’s like John Edwards protesting the DNC.

  2. Is it true that a delegation from Ramallah will be attending this festival you wish everyone to ban?

  3. Where is Will's defense of Octavia? He defended Thomas and Jumanah Albahri, why not Nasr?
He could say that she is a Semite, or that suicide bombings is a valid form of expression in Arab culture .

  4. Until I see a campus campaign to boycott Israel, I am not too interested in this movie star stuff.
It's fine, but is anybody planning for a big campus campaign– at least for divestment?

  5. Wow, I see this great blog infested with soulless haters.

Yes "hivner" Meg Ryan does indeed matter a LOT to us. As a matter of fact YOU too matter and would be celebrated if you saw the light and stood with justice, you keep all the celebrities "that matter" and we will take all those who you consider don't.

"Salty Mac" Abbas has taken your side years ago and we have washed our hands of him, those who still don;t say that are merely being diplomatic. Ramallah is under a brutal Zionist Occupation enabled and aided by Abbas and his treacherous gang.

"moes" I am not sure who "will" is and this is my first time here, but anyone who defended Thomas has to defend Octavia's tweet. Not only should she be free to express sympathy for the death of a major Lebanese religious leader (he is Shia Muslim she is Christian) but she should be free to defend Hizbollah and Hamas if she wants, sadly the US is a Zionist occupied land and the freedom fighters of the Middle East are branded Terrorists and the Zionist Terrorist war-mongering genocidal Fascist are branded peace-loving democratic and eternal friends who will be defended no matter what.

How dare anyone talk about Oktavia's simple statement of sympathy after death. When living under a system that forces the enslaved leader to talk about unshakable commitments to Israelis security, and unbreakable bond no matter what the Zionist abomination apartheid criminal entity does. decent people would break the bond with their own mother/father if they acted like a genocidal maniacs. so saying otherwise only encourages israel to continue its policy of genocide.

Thank you Meg Ryan and to the also "relevant" Dustin Hoffman who is Jewish so its doubly appreciative when Jews see how crazy it is to keep covering up for this Zionist terrorist apartheid entity.

    • She wasn't fired because of Zionists, she was fired because Fadlallah is best known to Americans as the cleric accused of masterminding the bombing of a United States Marine barracks in 1983 that killed 241 Americans.

      Posted by moes | July 9, 2010, 1:36 pm
      • That's BS and you know it. The Zionist filth rag called ("Honest" Reporting) is who publicized and made a big issue about this simple indecent. The same way Zionist extremist Jews saturated the controlled media demanding Helen's head are the same cult who are demanding that Octavia be put down like a dog for daring to exercise her freedom of expression on her own personal time. If she was a Zionist Jew no one would give her a second look because it is the vile norm in this country. Not too long ago Jewish Zionist Senator Chuck Schumer was publicly advocating strangulation the Gaza population (collective punishment) of Gaza's 1.5 Million people because in his words they elected Hamas, and they did not believe in the Torah or David. Needless to say that he was wrong and they actually do believe in both the Torah and in David and revere them as a holy book and a great king and prophet of God, but even if they didn't should that be a fair reason for collective punishment? I am sure that not many people even heard of this coming not from a an obscure controlled journalist who has to toe the line when doing her job, but of an "elected" Senator who is directly involved in foreign formulating policies that effect those who do not in his views "believe in the Torah and David".

Let put things in their perspective, Most (enslaved) major politicians in Washington have done and said on record many things that would be considered a career killer if said against the jews or Israel, but sadly people only see the minor incidents that are blown up in the one sided Zionist media. And besides I was not aware that CNN was had tried and convicted Fadlallah of the Marine barracks bombing.. s it is nothing short of thought police.

        • Joee, Chuck is a politician, not a reporter, his voters judge his views.
"considered a career killer if said against the jews or Israel"
Yeah, a lot of Americans consider people like Fadlallah and supporters of terrorism in general, as sick bastards, including those like Nasr who admire them. Weird eh Joee? It's like there's a global war on Terror or somesuch.

          • Just because America designate someone as a "terrorist" not all of us (who can tell right from wrong on our own) will follow the orders like SHEEPLE. You did not even bother to utter a single word regarding Chuck's NAZI Religious JewTerror statement advocating genocide against the innocent Palestinians of Gaza and that tells my all I need to know on where you stand. Most people in the world in many international polls (conducted by respected international pollsters at various times) have always voted the US and iZraHELL on TOP of the list of dangerous terrorist states. But that of course is meaningless to the Zionist Nazis.

You could've easily come out and admitted that you Zionist-Nazis are in control of the world's most powerful gov. and that you completely OWN ALL politicians and the Media is a mere tool you use to dominate and spread your filth and propaganda… I would respect you more, but don't dare try present this as having anything to do with common sense, Justice or fairness. I am not a fan of Octavia, and as someone recently pointed out, She was a mouth piece of CNN and the Zionist media machine and she had always towed the line so there was never anything special about her in my own personal views, but although she was a house slave to CNN and the Zionist Media, that did not stop them from making an example of her although she did not say or do anything to warrant it, just so that others know that there is ZERO freedom of thought allowed for those who are not singing the praises of IzraHell and the Zionist and JudeoNazis like Chuck Schumer.

          • Joee,
"Most people in the world in many international polls"?
Most people in the 30's and 40's also hated Jews, many in Europe.
Don't go all Nazi on me like the first leader of the Palestinians, the Nazi Mufti Haj Amin al-husseini, or like MSA student al-Bahri.
Still waiting for Will to defend Octavia.
And looks like Dustin didn't cancel any trip.
Fayyad, what is Arabic for "truth"?

          • "Just because America designate someone as a "terrorist" not all of us (who can tell right from wrong on our own) will follow the orders like SHEEPLE."

You know the American media is making a big deal of the World Cup. I was watching today's game and thinking that among the audience of the WC, what would their opinion of Israel and Palestine be? I'm guessing it would be very similar to the views of recent international conferences on racism where the US and other Euro Zio lackeys threatened to leave if they didn't withdraw a proposal equating Israel and Zionism with racism. This is how the international community sees Zionism, as a fundamentally racist concept.

Israel is like no country in the history of the world. It has been at war since its inception. It is essentially a war and not a country.

            Posted by Jamal | July 10, 2010, 11:00 pm
          • Arab states are at war since their inceptions, and Arabs killed more Arabs than any other state. Arabs are essentially a violent mob, not a nation.

            Posted by moes | July 11, 2010, 5:46 am
          • So what "Final Solution" do you propose for the 250-million-strong "non-nation" of Arabs?

Posted by Boycott Israel | July 11, 2010, 3:16 pm
          • Um, like, democracy might help them?

            Posted by molly | July 11, 2010, 7:04 pm
          • But only if they vote for people we like.

Posted by Democracy, yes. | July 12, 2010, 11:39 pm
          • Do the "people" we don't "like" have elections after they take over? No. That means Gaza is a dictatorship.

            Posted by molly | July 13, 2010, 8:38 am
          • You're comparing apples and oranges. "Final Solution" is a Zionist brand used to propagate their perpetual victim myth. It's illegal to use the term unless it portrays Jews as victims and GermArabs as perpetrators. I use the term "GermArabs" to get across the point that Germans and Arabs are one in the same when it comes to WWII history.

            Posted by Jamal | July 12, 2010, 2:16 pm
      • I heard Fadlallah actually put the entire bomb together. He also has WMDs hidden in his beard. Also, I heard he was hiding Osama, and was the mysterious 20th hijacker who parachuted from the plane right before it crashed into the WTC.

It's true, about 3,453,214 Arabs were "accused of masterminding the bombing," absent any evidence.

  6. I'm glad Meg and Dustin backed out.
But I would be gladder if they made a public statement. Don't give them too much credit until then.
