We received the following charming note along with this guest post submission:
Peace.
I hope you will publish this on your website. For this is soo much better then some of the trash you publish on it anyways.
But if you don’t, it will just prove you have no insight on publishing good articles. Or you have issues with me.
I hope it’s neither.
Peace Out.
How could we not publish it?

Hip-Hop Intifada Internationalized!
by OooKhalid
The widely popular ‘Free Palestine’ song by Lowkey has been internationalized on the sequel to his already awesome song ~ ‘Long Live Palestine’.
Long Live Palestine-Part 2.
Among the artists who have collaborated on this project are DAM (who need no introduction), Hickhas (awesome Persian rapper), and Shadia Mansour (first Palestinian female rapper).
It has become the most downloaded song and became number one on Amazon’s UK hip-hop download chart on the internet. The song was ahead of artists like Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Eminem and the Black Eyed Peas, the most downloaded hip-hop song on Amazon UK.
Listen to the song legally by downloading from here.

Shadia Mansour isn't' the first female Palestinian rapper. First one to get international fame, yes. I blame her good looks.
OooKhalid's such a charmer.
Posted by SanaKF | August 25, 2010, 8:48 pmWow! Now I am convinced that resistance does not always means armed struggle.
There are also other means of resistance to oppression and occupation.
That is called ART.
This is indicated in story and the words of the song posted here. Good Job, and thank you Hani for the post.

Posted by Abu | August 26, 2010, 11:35 amIt seems that one of the issues with OooKhalid is what he considers an article. I guess by trash he means those 500 word ones spoiled by facts and didactic discourse .
I thank him for the link, nonetheless, and agree with Mahmoud: armed struggle might be part of resistance, but it serves not at all those in whose name it is perpetrated. Art fights for ideas which are the only real, collateral damage free way to positive change.
