Remember Russia Today, that TV news station that came from nowhere and all of sudden became a major player in the news business? I know many of us here in DC we were all surprised by how quick this station rose to the top.
The station literary outfoxed many established news outlet and surprised everyone with their professionalism and quick response. RT airs in many world languages and has developed steady viewership.
A Russia Today corespondent for the Arabic Channel is a fan of the KABOBfest blog decided to cover the blog and met with few of the writers. In Cupa Cupa eatery, a Washington DC best kept secret the meeting took place where a number of our bloggers came for the interview. I must say I like the literal translation of the blog name…when the anchor says it, she makes it a lot more tasty.

Posted by Tamz | August 17, 2010, 6:46 pmThis station is well-know for hosting conspiracy-theorists and anti-American cranks. I'm glad you found a place to fit in.
Posted by TLOS | August 18, 2010, 10:20 pmIt's true, TLOS is correct. Just a couple of weeks ago they hosted the anti-American (specifically, anti-1st Amendment) conspiracy-theorist Pam Geller.
Posted by Fadi | August 19, 2010, 8:56 amYes, you are right….they are very critical of the US, they also cover things that go under the radar and thus put them on it….but that's what they all do try to make the other look bad…not sure about the conspiracy theories.
Posted by Hanitizer | August 19, 2010, 9:14 pmOh, you mean they host Prof. Finklestein instead of your secret same sex lover Dershowshits. Go kill some babies you'll feel better, shalom.
Posted by Chauncey | August 25, 2010, 5:30 pmYou guys make a mixture of two channels in your comments – Russia Today English and Rusya al-Yaum (RT Arabic or RTA). RTA broadcasts only in the MENA region and Europe. In the US you can only watch it via Internet or provider that offers Arab speaking channels. So what TLOS has suggested doesn't apply at all to the RTA channel that made the video posted here. That reminds me how some US sites and bloggers used a map of the State of Georgia (USA) during the conflict with the Republic of Georgia and seriously discussed what the Russian troops could be seeking in Atlanta.
Posted by Dasha | August 25, 2010, 4:09 amMossad assisted in doing with the insiders of our country 9-11, so why isn't that pastor protesting against them??? Is he begin paid off by Mossad or the CIA ? Are they trying to start a war between Muslims and Christians with the Zionists left standing??? Is that what all this is all about??? I tried to write a letter to you rather than posting on here, but could not find a contact email address, so I am afraid I am probably in the wrong spot.
As an American I speak out against this kind of atrocity and barbarity. The man looks like a drug addict, look at his eyes. I swear he is brain washed or mind controlled or something. he is not normal in the head. He would be enough to chase me away from the religion since that is violent which Christ was not. Florida must have mercury poisoning or something. Jeb Bush, this pastor, weirdos all.
Posted by Pepper | September 6, 2010, 5:06 pmBetween me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.
