Freedom for Palestine

Taken from their website:

Palestine is in crisis. Today Palestinians face daily human rights abuse and live in crushing poverty in refugee camps and under Israeli Occupation.

In response to this injustice, a group of international musicians are releasing the song Freedom for Palestine by OneWorld.

Featuring

Maxi Jazz (Faithless), Dave Randall (Slovo/Faithless), LSK, the Durban Gospel Choir, members of the London Community Gospel Choir, Jamie Catto (1 Giant Leap) and musicians from around the world.

Supported by

War on Want, Palestine Solidarity Campaign, Jews for Justice for Palestinians, A Just Peace for Palestine, Friends of Al Aqsa, Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions UK, Stop the War Coalition, Trust Greenbelt and the A.M.Qattan Foundation.

Proceeds from the single will go to UK Charity War on Want for projects in Palestine.

And you can add Coldplay to the list of supporters as well:

Writing on their official Facebook page on Wednesday, Coldplay referred fans to the “Freedom for Palestine” page, saying: Some of our friends are involved in OneWorld’s new ‘Freedom for Palestine’ single,” providing a link to the official “‘Freedom for Palestine” website.

  2. That is what I'm calling into my local LA radio station to play. And my dance club DJ can play it for our parties right off of my player. I hear its also potentially making it into the top charts in the U.K.
