Looks like things haven't changed all that much in Saudi Arabia. I suppose the university's key research activities will include most optimal decapitation techniques, IED construction and other tools of the trade.

http://www.nytimes.com/2007/10/26/world/middleeast/26saudi.html?pagewanted=2&_r=1&hpKabob Al-Makshoufnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6358737.post-29130997953701468922007-10-24T20:30:00.000-07:002007-10-24T20:30:00.000-07:00The people I knew with the last name Slater were J...The people I knew with the last name Slater were Jewish not Arab, lol. I don't know any Jews who have gone there on vacation yet, but I'm sure it's going to happen. In fact, some Jewish organizations are already discussing with the governments the establishment of Jewish synagogues, or the rebuilding of those destroyed by Arab mobs after 1948, but these would probably be restricted to "foreigner only" hotels and resorts.

The only Jews that I know of who CAN'T go to the Gulf countries are those with Israeli passports.Kabob Al-Makshoufnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6358737.post-29891015878910789352007-10-23T23:54:00.000-07:002007-10-23T23:54:00.000-07:00Hey guys, saw this through google... interesting c...Hey guys, saw this through google... interesting convo.

Let me tell you first hand that in ALL GCC countries there are PLENTY of american passport holders that are jewish...

As a surfer, i was thrilled to hear this guy was an arab, but this is unverified, i've tried to google his heritage, and come up empty... i think it was just a case of sensationalism to get sales, webhits, whatever!

Laters...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6358737.post-13166731454490444212007-10-21T18:24:00.000-07:002007-10-21T18:24:00.000-07:00saladin, i hope you wrote that post in a hurry cuz...saladin, i hope you wrote that post in a hurry cuz otherwise you're a moron.
