VIDEO: Earlham College’s BDS Campaign

A diverse group of Earlham College students have declared their support for BDS Earlham in a powerful new video.

Another Pro-Israel Event Walkout

The Students for Justice in Palestine at Pennsylvania State University pulled off a nice little protest at pro-Israeli events last month. After filling up the room for Israeli apologist-speakers, they simply left in unison.

Flash Mob Dance for Palestine in NYC

Commemorate Palestine’ s Land Day with a little song and dance, and a reminder that boycotting Israel is the key to peace.

BDS Bieber

No, no this isn’t about boycotting the Bieb although I wouldn’t mind getting behind that. Here’s another great video by John Grey asking The Bieb to stop from performing in Tel Aviv on April 14th of this year. Hopefully he won’t pull a Macy Gray.

“No Justice, No Chickpeas” – Philly Flashdance Video is Inspiring

I will not comment on the quality of the dance choreography, but the creativity and energy of these activists calling for BDS should encourage others to act.

While it is important that we boycott hummous that benefits Israeli militarism, we should also support Palestinian hummous by buying chickpeas and making them by hand the good old fashioned pre-Zionist cooptation way.

Harvard Divests From Israel

Harvard Management Company, which manages the university’s endowment, has divested the fund from all investments it had in Israel companies, during the second quarter of this year. The divested stocks include TEVA, a generic drug manufacturer, that has greatly benefited from Israel’s strangulation of several

Shalala Gets the Arab Treatment at Ben-Gurion

Ynet summed it up perfectly:

Prof. Donna Shalala, Clinton’s secretary of health, arrives in Israel in order to fight academic boycott against Israel, claims she was held at Ben-Gurion Airport just because she has [an] Arab last name. read

Indian Call for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel

All signs indicate that Israel is starting to take seriously the threat of Palestine solidarity activists, the types of people brushed off for so long by media and policymakers as marginal and irrelevant.

Now, Israel is moving towards the criminal prosecution of those who advocate Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) as tools to press Israeli compliance with international law and norms in its Apartheid rule and occupation of the Palestinian people.

As Indian writers and artists call for a boycott of Israel, it is clearly becoming a global movement. read

Snubbed

Actors Meg Ryan and Dustin Huffman canceled their participation in one of Apartheid’s major film festivals. BDS is here people… people are boycotting because they are concluding it’s the right thing to do on their own, not when they are approached by activists.

De-Archived

Another cultural bombing rocks Israel.. British Rock band “Archive” remove Israel from their concert tour, rather unmistakably.
