Libya Needs Your Voice NOW

It was a small size protest in comparison with other protests I have seen in the DC area. There were virtually no media outlets to document the protest. Why are most people leaving the people of Libya at the mercy of this lunatic bloody clown?

Egypt Shows Wisconsin The Way

The protesters are displaying their opposition to the republican sponsored bill that drastically cuts government and university employee benefits, and do away with collective bargaining rights that took over 50 years to achieve and win. Some are even demanding the resignation of the new republican governor, Scott Walker, or Scott “Hosni” Walker, as some Green Bay Packers called him.

Peter King’s Display

Rep. King poses a threat not only to Americas’ Muslims, but to our national security. He ignored an appeal letter from 51 community based organizations, by stating publicly ,” it not worthy of his response.” He was elected to office and supported by American tax-payers like you and I. This man should be challenged and exposed.

Tea Party Senator: Wipe Israel Off The Map

Tea Party-packed senator just expressed that he favors cutting foreign aid to all countries, including Israel. This is probably the first time a sitting senator openly calls of ending aid to the apartheid state since Paul Findley of Illinois, who was subsequently ousted by AIPAC.
But of course his proposal drew swift condemnation from both republicans and democrats, reminding us once more that Obama, Palin, and every body in between, have virtually the same morally bankrupt stance on Israel.
Although this may get shut down in the senate, it’s worth keeping an eye on to see if it makes it onto the emails of the Tea Party faithful talking points. If this issue gains traction with partiers, aid will come to end, given the number of congressmen clamoring for their blessing. At the very least, it will lead to a showdown between the Tea Party and AIPAC… wouldn’t that show be worth the admission price? Popcorn on Fadi…

Guest Post: “Rep. King, Ignoramus or Liar? This Is My America Too”

By Mahmoud El-Yousseph January 28, 2011 The newly elected House Chairman of Homeland Security Committee , Peter king [R-N.Y.] is on a crusade. This law maker is fixated on Muslims in America, like a drug addict hooked on drugs. He will go through pain to defame, smear and insult Muslims in our country. First thing [...]

Reading Into Whitehouse Stance On Egypt

Todays Whitehouse press conference was deafening in the prevalence of nothingness in it. Spokesman Robert Gibbs managed to speak for nearly a full hour, yet say nothing.

- It is clear that the Whitehouse is in panic mode that its dictator ally may not survive many more days of this uprising. The Whitehouse should fear reaping what it sowed over the past thirty years of supporting this brutal dictator.

The Candid Guide to Arab Dictators

2011 is shaping up to be a rough year for Arab dictators, everyone is freaking out as they watch one of their own fall and the people whom they have screwed over for a long time, are finally fed up and gearing up for a fight. Well, being a dictator is not as easy as it looks. For starter, you have this thing called the internet you have to worry about it. So I gathered few tips for those up and coming dictators can use:

The Challenge of Feeding a Family in Gaza

Most days, Randa sends her son to school without breakfast and relies on the fortified snacks offered in the Milk for Preschoolers program run by ANERA, “At least I know my son Mohammed can get milk and biscuits every day.

With Death From Gaza

When you do not distinguish between combatants and unarmed civilians during war, then you deserve to be named a “terrorist.” It makes no difference what your religion is! Yes, even if you are Jewish!

Hamas’ Record on Women, a Mixed Bag

When it comes to women rights, Hamas in Gaza continues to pass and enforce laws and regulations that are baffling to say the least. I have been watching their actions on women related matters and most of the time I am surprised by how much time to dedicate to making the life for women a bit more difficult. But then when I went to Gaza and saw how things are, I started to see Hamas’s record as a mixed bag. While the majority of Hamas figures see the home and family are the only place for a women. Many Hamas supporters also engage in polygamy (but her husband is a Shaheed). Granted there are things I see as a downside, some might seem them as an upside. For example, in their rallies, Hamas likes to enlist the help of women by promising them to get food stamps for showing up to their rallies. Here is a list of observations on Hamas’ record on women as the Hamas government continues to make waves.
