Like everything else the Bush administration did, they failed in that, too. North Korea easily played the six-party talks, giving Cheney extra discomfort, possibly in the form of heart palpitations.

Thump, thump.

The Obama camp is seemingly following in the soft footsteps of Wimp Jr. They named as the new US envoy on North Korea, Stephen Bosworth.

Admittedly, I know very little of the man, and even less about Obama’s foreign policy towards NK. But, it is quite clear from the picture above that we need someone much tougher in the envoy position.

If Cheney were running the show, he’d being in a real Bosworth: the Boz. Besides being tough, he is considered a screen god in North Korea. He could therefore be a boost to American soft power efforts — if they decide to go that weakling route.

I am so damn good at what I do.”

Today is the cause for massive celebrations and a much-needed military parade where the great, dear, father-leader of North Korea, his greatness whose name is beyond the dishonor of mention on this lowly blog, or a suitable clone, can impress upon his great nation the wondrous accomplishment today bequeathed upon them in their defeat of the backwards, imperialistic [insert Korean for "failed president seeking one success of note before office"].

All rise in his honor for he has done a great deed. Through ingenious diplomatic maneuvering, he was able to get his beloved country removed from the US State-Sponsor of Terrorism List! They will allow inspectors who can only inspect previously agreed upon sites, that sly fox. And a politically desperate American administration would sign on to just about anything to appear effective internationally.

This also leaves Iran and Israel in the “Axis of Evil,” making “axis” even less accurate since Iraq left the club, liberation-style. Perhaps this is all to further isolate Iran, which had the benefit of NK to divide America’s attention somewhat.

Alf Mabrouk to North Korea! (insert ululation) For it has joined the prestigious list of nations America will not attack soon, for now.
