US Rep. Peter King, owes the rise in his political career, to his own support for a foreign terrorist group. He accuses Muslims in America of supporting terrorism, of not being loyal or patriotic citizens, and implied in a recent interview, that Muslims are not true Americans.
Rep. King poses a threat not only to Americas’ Muslims, but to our national security. He ignored an appeal letter from 51 community based organizations, by stating publicly ,” it not worthy of his response.” He was elected to office and supported by American tax-payers like you and I. This man should be challenged and exposed.
By Mahmoud El-Yousseph January 28, 2011 The newly elected House Chairman of Homeland Security Committee , Peter king [R-N.Y.] is on a crusade. This law maker is fixated on Muslims in America, like a drug addict hooked on drugs. He will go through pain to defame, smear and insult Muslims in our country. First thing [...]

Disregard for Palestinian life has characterized the attitudes of Israeli authorities towards its Arab citizens since the establishment of the state. The Palestinians constitute what the Italian philosopher Giorgio Agamben calls homo sacer, according to which the laws of humanity do not apply to them. For Israel, the Palestinians exist in conditions of “bare life”. Their minimal existence is tolerated but not enhanced. Invariably, the law is suspended when it comes to rectifying Palestinian grievances. Israel is usually quick to cite “national security” as justification for its lethal actions.
Life for Palestinian citizens of the state is in a perpetual state of emergency where exception to the universal application of the law is the rule. As a colonial state, life in Israel is best viewed from a racialized prism where ethnicity and race govern the treatment of its citizens. As in all colonial regimes, territory and population are the two central elements which occupy the colonizer, and Israel is no exception. Both of these components provide the cornerstone of modern Zionism.
The nationwide resurgence of anti-Muslim sentiment is sad and unfortunate. It threatens to tear at the seams of the fabric of America. On the ninth anniversary of 9/11, we appeal to the people of Newport-Mesa to refrain from joining in to stoke this frenzy against fellow Americans whose name for God might sound foreign to us, but who call their maker Allah. Locals should instead look to a mosque that’s right here in Costa Mesa, the Islamic Educational Center of Orange County, as an inspiration for spreading peace and goodwill that is so badly
Father: I also do not like Mooselims because they can’t be patriotic Americans.
Son: That is odd! My Muslim classmate, Chafique, told the class that his oldest brother had served in the US army and that his father is a retired US veteran.

Those here who don’t watch Glenn Beck regularly, mainly police and medics, are confused as to why the title “Restoring Honor” is applicable.

Every so often, as you listen to your iPod on shuffle, you will hear a song, a lyric, a word that will seem so perfectly poignant that you wish you could tell someone. More often than not, you’re on a bus or a train or a plane, earphones in, and there’s nobody around who can share your moment.
I’m currently in a painfully anonymous airport for a soul crushingly long layover – and I find myself in this very predicament.
While much the country is focused on whether or not the organizers of Park51 will change their minds and move or whether or not jihadis are in a tizzy over the debate, some real home-grown extremism has been cropping up, and not of the Islamic variety.
