Gene Simmons = Right-wing Zionism + Years of drug abuse + Scant historical knowledge + The uniquely undeserved podium provided by former celebrity status + Excessive cussing

Gene Simmons of the American rock band Kiss opines on Obama’s Israel policy. Hilarious. There are many ingeniously idiotic lines.

He wins the skeptics over with his first brilliant point that Obama shouldn’t set policies about the moon without going to the moon. That’s a sensible principle. NASA would love that. I wonder if Simmons thinks that celebrities-turned-pundits should visit Palestinian refugee camps before speaking about them publicly.

Simmons goes on to say how Obama — unlike himself by implication — doesn’t know what it’s like to live in the real world. Rock stars are so in touch with the people, man.

The highlight is when Simmons talks about shooting someone who breaks into his house — without at all getting the obvious irony that for Palestinians, Israel’s pioneers were the burglars who stole the houses. He’s too uninformed to even know the Palestinian narrative or too dull to sense irony.

Forget the fact that the 1967 borders have been the basis of American foreign policy for the past few decades (minus the W. Bush administration, whose foreign and economic policies the country is still trying to recover from).

In short, Gene Simmons can be expressed by this equation:
Gene Simmons = Right-wing Zionism + Years of drug abuse + Scant historical knowledge + The uniquely undeserved podium provided by former celebrity status + Excessive cussing
If it wasn’t the drugs or booze, either the leather pants were too tight for too long or the face makeup had some sort of chemical that seeped into his pores, causing irreparable neurological damage.

Feel free to point out his other crazy lines in the comments section.

It is self-insulting to belittle the enemy’s passions and intellect. The self-evident monstrosity of Zionist-Israeli-Jews should not obscure their humanity, the understanding of which is key to the liberation of Palestine.

Click on image to watch the winning video

Like any other people, Israeli Jews include the good, the bad, and the ugly; the ultra-religious and the secular; the liberal and peace-loving, and the right-wing chauvinistic ideologue; the musician who pours his heart and soul in a symphony and the transsexual pop star who wins the EuroVision song contest; the Israeli chef who has mastered Palestinian cuisine (never mind that he patriotically renamed it Israeli cuisine), the actress, the artist, and the Olympiad; let alone the collective will to revive a dead language and turn it into their nation’s lingua franca. Against all odds, they have sustained (with the enabling of the West) their presence and nurtured their manufactured identity in the face of all natural enemies in the region.

Understand that what fuels the Zionist ideology, generation after generation, is not some evil desire to kill and steal from Arabs. Rather, it stems from a socio-political conclusion that had been made in the late nineteenth century by the Zionist pioneers — Herzl (father of modern Zionism) and friends.

Herzl had originally attempted to disregard his Jewish identity in favor of belonging to a pan-Germanic empire. But with the growing sense of European nationalism digging its roots in every nation-state, coupled with growing anti-Semitism, these handful of European Jews have come to the same conclusion that the founders of ACS (the American Colonization Society for the resettlement of Blacks in Africa) had come to.

Due to “unconquerable prejudice resulting from their color, they never could amalgamate with the free whites of this country. It was desirable, therefore, as it respected them, and the residue of the population of the country, to drain them off.” ~ Henry Clay (ACS co-founder)

Thousands of African-Americans had been “drained off.” Starting in 1816, the first wave had been shipped off to British-controlled Sierra Leone. They gradually colonized Pepper Coast (bordering Ivory Coast) until their numbers grew large enough to declare the independence of the Republic of Liberia in 1847.

The resemblance of dates with the Zionist project (1917 Balfour Declaration, 1948 declaration of Independence) is somewhat eerie. But there is more to it than dates. The Americo-Liberians, as they called themselves, referred to their newly founded country as their “promised land,” that they have “returned” to. Their presence is concentrated on the coastline in and around their capital city of Monrovia (where first arrivals landed), just like European Jews are concentrated in their coastline (de facto) capital: Tel Aviv. Hostility ensued between the Americo-Liberian settlers and the “savage” indigenous African peoples of Pepper Coast, for obvious reasons.

Counter-intuition

And just like the ACS was strongly supported (and funded) by their true enablers — United States government and large segments of America’s White (and some Black) populations, the Zionist movement found tremendous support from their true enablers — European kings, queens, prime ministers, and large segments of European (including Jewish) populations. Without this socio-political and financial support, Zionism would have remained as a mere fan club, where silly people met and discussed their silly ideas.

However, most Jews, even under the deadliest forms of persecution — the Nazi Holocaust, still managed to see the counter-intuitiveness of the Zionist project and thus preferred to immigrate to the Americas over Palestine, as evident by statistics. Today, two-thirds of world Jewry still does not identify with Israel as their “homeland,” just like the majority of African Americans do not identify with Liberia, and why should they?

It must be also confirmed beyond any doubt that Zionism was never a religious project. All this talk about “returning home to the promised land” was (and still is) just a marketing campaign to attract world Jewry to immigrate and colonize Palestine. Zionism, like any other “national” movement in the world, is based on a nationalist project: to establish a national identity on a contiguous lot of land; a state where all citizens can identify with one another based on nationality, as opposed to skin color, heritage, or religion (all of which contain the seeds of civil strife).

Unlike other national movements, however, Zionism is counter-intuitive because there is no “national” identity that connects a German Jew with, say, an Iranian Jew. A German Jew is a German first and foremost, and her cultural, national, social, and psychological identities are German, and so is the case for the Iranian Jew. Even if we were to believe that Jews worldwide have remained racially pure for two thousand years, building a nation based on racial ancestry is ridiculous. Why don’t we all find out where Adam and Eve were born and move there to build our nation?

Why Palestine?

The Zionist final choice for Der Judenstaat (the Jewish State) fell on Palestine for two main entrepreneurial reasons. First, feasibility — like Sierra Leone and Pepper Coast, Palestine was ruled by the British, who were more than delighted to assist the Zionists to “drain off” the Jews from Europe. Second, marketing strategy — Palestine can be used as a powerful magnet to the religious crowd after a little bit of Wahhabi-style brainwashing; after all they were competing with other superior refuge destinations. Thus, the first victims of the Zionist project were the very people it claimed to represent.

Ben Gurion (1938): “If I knew that it would be possible to save all the [Jewish] children in Germany by bringing them over to England and only half of them by transporting them to Eretz Israel, then I opt for the second alternative.”

And just like the successful entrepreneurs that they were, they used every dirty trick in the book to populate their soon-to-be Israel. But in their hasty and blind pursuit to realize the nutty dream of Der Judenstaat, the Zionists and their Imperial British midwives chose to intentionally dismiss this one tiny little problem: Palestine was already populated by a civilized, nationalistically-driven, indigenous population (ten percent of whom were Jewish) who have strongly expressed their rejection to the Zionist project.

From the King-Crane Commission (1919) report: “The commissioners began their study of Zionism with minds predisposed in its favor…The fact came out repeatedly in the Commission’s conferences with Jewish representatives that the Zionists looked forward to a practically complete dispossession of the present non-Jewish inhabitants of Palestine, by various forms of purchase… If [the] principle [of self-determination] is to rule, and so the wishes of Palestine’s population are to be decisive as to what is to be done with Palestine, then it is to be remembered that the non-Jewish population of Palestine – nearly nine-tenths of the whole – are emphatically against the entire Zionist program.. To subject a people so minded to unlimited Jewish immigration, and to steady financial and social pressure to surrender the land, would be a gross violation of the principle just quoted…No British officers, consulted by the Commissioners, believed that the Zionist program could be carried out except by force of arms. The officers generally thought that a force of not less than fifty thousand soldiers would be required even to initiate the program. That of itself is evidence of a strong sense of the injustice of the Zionist program…The initial claim, often submitted by Zionist representatives, that they have a ‘right’ to Palestine based on occupation of two thousand years ago, can barely be seriously considered.” ~ The Israel-Arab Reader by Laqueur and Rubin.

It had become clear early on that the only way to achieve the Zionist national dream was with superior firepower and the empowerment of Arab despots who earned and maintained their crowns by selling Palestine and the pan-Syrian national project that thousands of Iraqis, Jordanians, Lebanese, Palestinians, and Syrians had fought, bled, and died for.

Spiritual Connection

With billions and billions of dollars of economic, political, and military aid, the Zionists have, so far, successfully established and, to a certain degree, secured their state. But the Zionist project’s ultimate test of success is the degree of naturalization among all Arabs in general and Palestinians in particular; to accept and recognize Israel’s right to exist as the Jewish national state. So far, and with all their international influence and power, they have been unable to get any serious popular (Arab) recognition for Israel’s right to exist on a single square-inch of Palestine.

The early Zionists used their belief in their racial supremacy, like most Europeans did at the time, to justify their colonization and dispossession of Palestine from its true owners. The Arab savage (they thought) could never understand what Palestine means to a Jew, for they could not have possibly attained the spiritual cognizance that was innate in Jews vis-a-vis their connection to eretz y’israel. The Arab farmer, on other hand, is connected to objects: house, trees, goats, horses, chickens, etc. If these savages were to be craned out of Palestine and put on another piece of land, with houses, trees, goats, horses, and chickens, they would be equally satisfied.

The reality, however, turned out to be quite the opposite. The great majority of Jews who had left their homes in Europe over the past fifty years have done so for economic reasons; searching for a better life with more material gain. The Israeli government, today, encourages world Jewry (through worldwide advertisement) to move into highly-subsidized West Bank settlements through material incentives, such as lower rent and utilities, modern apartment complexes, swimming pools, amusement parks, and plenty of confiscated orchards and water resources. It was the savages, who’s rights to citizenship have been denied, whose homes and orchards have been confiscated or demolished, who get humiliated on a daily basis, detained for years with no charge or trial, who get bombed with F-16s and Apache helicopters and whose towns that haven’t been razed have been put under siege, and who were given every reason to leave; these savages have refused to give up their spiritual connection to Palestine for all the material incentives in the world.

What has sustained the Zionist project all these years was not a spiritual connection, but five billion dollars of foreign aid, in addition to business conglomerate mutual interests. If there was a Jewish spiritual connection to Palestine, then why do all Israelis continue to hold onto their “other” citizenship documents? Is it because their spiritual connection lies elsewhere? Is that why in every continental musical or sports event the Israeli team competes in Europe? Did Asia and the Orient really alienate them, or have they alienated themselves from it, yearning for their true home in the Occident?

But perhaps not. Perhaps when push comes to shove, a Jewish spirituality will be born (or reborn) to hold onto eretz y’israel, much stronger than the way they held onto Lebanon, the Sinai, and Gaza. Perhaps they would fight to death to stay in Occupied Palestine, even when they are no longer militarily superior. But when that day comes, the colonizer will still be the colonizer, and fighting to the death will not earn them the moral or spiritual high ground.

In this daily psychological warfare through the media, Palestinians must never lose sight of the truth: this conflict is over a land with two national projects (صراع وجود), one based on legal and moral claims and the other isn’t. Morality and legality are the fuel of the spirit, and a national project that has no spirit is bound to be doomed.

Contributed by OK?

What do Israel and the United States have in common? Why, that’s easy of course! They both have Liebermans that make a public mockery of the democratic political system. So which Lieberman is the more offensive Lieberman? You decide!

Representing USA: Joe Lieberman

Joe is a senator from Connecticut. Politically, he has however made more switches than the sexually confused Andy Dick. He’s a Democrat, no wait…he’s a Republican. Nope, he’s a Democrat…no, now he’s a Republican….wait, now he’s independent….I think.

He was the vice presidential running mate of Al Gore, the guy who invented the internet. Though unlike Al Gore, he wants America to put a “kill switch” on the internet so it can be turned off at any time to prevent the activists, hippies and anyone who doesn’t agree with ‘merica, damn it…from communicating with each other. He supports wire-tapping and racially profiling Arabs and Muslims, because, well…they look like the guys who bombed us. He supported both Gulf Wars claimed that Saddam Hussein is threatening to blow up America…and Iran too!

He doesn’t like political transparency because it prevents politicians from conducting backroom deals. In fact, according to Joe, Julian Assange should be arrested on charges of espionage because he’s a product of Satan. However, he also thinks that Jonathan Pollard, the guy who was arrested for espionage on behalf of Israel, got an unfair deal. Speaking of Israel, Joe thinks that the racist apartheid nation could do no wrong.

He supported Israel’s “non-war crime” war crimes in Operation Defensive Shield and Operation Cast Lead and thought that Israel didn’t do enough damage during its invasion of Lebanon. He publicly chastised Yasser Arafat, claiming that the now deceased Palestinian Leader was the Godfather of terrorism. He supports reparations of Holocaust survivors but doesn’t support reparations of displaced Palestinian refugees or their right of return. He supported moving the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, the so-called “undisputed capital of Israel.”

He’s has a Fox News fetish and appears on the so-called news channel more often than Alan Colmes, these days. Just mentioning Bill O’Reilly or Sean Hannity gives him a chubby.

Representing Israel: Avigdor Lieberman

The Jewish Lou Ferrigno, this (not so) Incredible Hulk comes from the Soviet Union. After living moving to Israel, he worked as a nightclub bouncer and was so good at bouncing that he even received a promotion. He’s the racist founder of racist organizations like Yisrael Beiteinu, a political party that demands Arabs must swear loyalty to Israel to be able to keep their citizenship.

He wants forced exchange, wherein Israel moves its Arab citizens to the West Bank, while annexing all West Bank settlements, including the one he’s been living in since 1988. He’s against the “Land for Peace” and “Roadmap for Peace” plans and claims that the Palestinian Authority is an illegitimate entity.

This Lieberman is a tough guy. In fact, he’s so tough he violently assaulted a 12 year old boy. He supports indiscriminate targeting of alleged “terrorists” in the West Bank, Syria, Lebanon and Iran. He once told former Egyptian President, Hosni Mubarak to go to Hell. He accused Arab Knesset Members of being Hamas supporters and “terrorist collaborators” and suggested their executions, Nuremburg style. Ariel Sharon kicked him out of his government, Ehud Olmert had a slobbery make out session with the Egyptians because of him, and Netanyahu is repeatedly humiliated and embarrassed by Avigdor’s untimely racist comments and announcements of settlement expansion. He’s a public relations whore who thinks that controversy breeds publicity.

He supports an Israeli bill that allows neighborhoods in Israel to vote on whether an Arab can live in their community, another which makes boycott and divestment illegal, and a third that outlaws any mention and/or recognition of the Nakba (the 1948 exodus of Palestinians). He publicly humiliated Richard Goldstone, claiming that he’s an anti-Semitic Semite but celebrated Goldstone’s recent op-ed article that the Israeli PR machine claims absolved Israel of war crimes during Operation Cast Lead (the article did no such thing but you’ll have a hard time convincing Zionists of that).

–

So which Lieberman is more outrageous? You decide.

Though Ray Hanania has been working his socks off in preparation for his Dancing With the Stars (DWTS) debut, his dream of prancing around on stage in front of millions of viewers was crushed this morning when he received a phone call from one of the show’s producers saying, “Sorry Ray, you won’t be on this season.”

According to Ikhras, a website dedicated to all things Ray related, “Ray insisted on finding himself a Zionist dancing partner… The show producers tried to recruit one for Ray, but were ultimately unsuccessful.”

Two of the skills it takes to make it on DWTS are to be gentle and supportive. Mike Bear, from the Public relations firm that represents DWTS spoke to us on this matter: “None of the Zionist dancing partners we spoke with had any idea what those two words meant… They kept pushing and shoving…there was no finesse. You really can’t teach an old dog new tricks.”

Ray Hanania was devastated by the news and were we. We at this blog have issued a press release, in which we condemn the show for not taking Ray Hanania, a Palestinian Arab who would dance with any Zionist. This is a rare instance when we added our voices to Ray’s and offer him full support on his fight with the DWTS executives and pitch this idea to him, How about “Dancing with the Hmars” instead?

Tom Suave, a journalism professor from New York’s prestigious Yeshiva University, said to KABOBfest during a phone interview: “Ray would have been perfect for the show. He can dance and has been doing so for decades, but make no mistake, he’s no star.”

For Ray, being nixed from DWTS means that there’s one more prize he’ll never win. While he claims to have once been nominated for a Pulitzer Prize, the folks over at KABOBfest proved that was a lie early last year. In fact, the only award he’s ever one was for completing a crossword puzzle in the New York Times 25 years ago. Despite this, Ray remains motivated. Though, to be frank, it’s about time Ray takes a sober look at his many (many) inadequacies.

Fortunately, Ray is already moving on and has already unveiled his latest pet project – the sales of “booze and fine cigars.” According to Ray, “Half of my listeners think I’m either drunk or high during my shows…the other half wishes they were.”

Nevertheless, Mr. Hanania is still keeping his foot in politics and is trying hard not to isolate his Muslim brothers and sisters. Ray is even offering Muslims a 20 percent discount on all alcoholic beverages. According to Ray, “As a Christian who is married to a Jew, I want to reach out to my Muslims friends and give them a break.”

With Gaddafi on the ropes, and Ben Ali and Mubarak relegated to the history books, we are getting a better sense of the delusions that Arab dictators propagate to justify their authoritarian powers.

Usually, the first big lie is something like, “I do not want to be president, I am just doing this for you.” They all think they’re benevolent despots, or at least they like pretending to be. That lie’s an obvious one, no one cracks down on dissent, rapes their country’s resources and puts billboards of himself all over the country out of the good of his heart. So we will include the more interesting lies in our 15 point list:

1. If I go down, Al Qaeda and extremists will take over the country (which is SO MUCH worse than the extreme idiots in power now)
2. The country will go into civil war and break apart (as they effectively attack protesters and try to turn the country against them)
3. Life is good for my people! (despite 40% unemployment and everyone complaining in private all the time)
4. The economy will collapse (if you mean the bribe-based economy and dysfunctional oil operations)
5. The protests are an American-Israeli-Iranian-Qatari-Hamas conspiracy (even used by allies of the US)
6. My people love me!!!!!!! (like they’d love a plague)
7. I promise major reforms (bigger prisons!)
8. The protesters are all foreigners. See we caught one with a foreign passport! (she works for the local IHOP)
9. I love this country too much to actually listen to the people who live here (“plus, what the hell do they know?!?!?”)
10. The opposition drinks, gives people free money and uses crazy drugs (because they have no legitimate qualms whatsoever)
11. I have done so much for this country (a monkey at a typewriter could have done a better job)
12. The protests are Facebook/the internet/Al Jazeera’s fault (no, it’s your’s)
13. I’ll step down at some named date in the future (yeah, right/ Inshallah)
14. I am not the president, I do not have any real authority (yeah, just like those really old Wal-Mart door greeters)
15. I am in firm control of the country! (if you exclude my obnoxious family members and the millions on the streets)

BONUS

16. This country is not like Egypt or Tunisia (yeah because his policies have put this country in a different universe.)
17. I can’t leave as I come from the Hashimite lineage of the prophet Mohammad (oookkkkaaaaaaayyyyy)
18. I can’t be dethroned for I am not a king, I am the “servant of the holy sites” (And heck I just gave every Saudi close to a million dollars in bonuses).

By Mahmoud El-Yousseph
February 25, 2011

US Rep. Peter King, owes the rise in his political career, to his own support for a foreign terrorist group. He accuses Muslims in America of supporting terrorism, of not being loyal or patriotic citizens, and implied in a recent interview, that Muslims are not true Americans.

This coming from a former cheerleader, confidant and friend, to the leaders of one of Europe’s bloodiest and most violent terrorist groups, namely the Irish Republican Army, better known as the[IRA]. He is the last person who should be trying to paint Muslims , or anyone else, with a terrorist brush

To create ill will for Americas’ Muslims and divert the public’s attention from his long history of supporting terrorism abroad, the new Chairman of Home Land Security Committee in Congress, Rep. Peter King [R-N.Y.] is holding a hearing on alleged ” radicalization of Muslims”, on the week of March 7th.

Tracking down Peter King’s Mickey Mouse Hearing for the last two months, I have learned pretty interesting and amazing stuff. First of all, the so- called “alleged Muslim radicalization” is bogus and only intended to feed the hungry Muslim-bashers. Had Mr. King been genuine about our home front, he should have engaged and reached out to Muslim leaders, instead of referring to them recklessly as, “the enemy amongst us.”

So why isn’t Mr.King inviting law enforcement officials, and anti terrorism task forces, to testify? He claimed in a recent Fox News interview that, “they are too busy or scared.” I say, that’s a lot of poppycock! Fact is, FBI Director Robert Mueller, who is the Chief law enforcement official in the US, told the Senate Judiciary Committee, two years ago, that, “Muslim and Arab communities have been tremendously supportive and have worked very closely with [the FBI] in a number of instances around the country.”

According to FBI statistics, 150,000 Americans were murdered since 9/11. Among those, 33 were killed by Muslims, statistically speaking, three people killed per year. Not to diminish the seriousness of this, because one victim is too many, but, why are other acts of terror or violence, that are not Muslim related, not being investigated by Mr. King ?

On Jan 27, 2011, in an article entitled, “Terrorists are not just Muslims,” Rep. Bennie Thomspon [D-MI], who is King`s predecessor, stated, ” when state law enforcement were asked to identify terror groups in their states, Muslim extremist groups ranked 11th on a list of 18.”

So why did Mr. King refuse to investigate, or conveniently ignored other acts of terror committed in the US, that were not Muslim related? Here are 3 examples of the most recent ones:

*The attempted bombing of the Unity March, in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King`s birthday, in Spokane, WA. on January 19, 2011.

* The U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum shooting in Washington, D.C. on June 10, 2009.

*The Arizona Massacre, where 6 people were killed, in cold blood, and 13 others were injured, on Jan. 8, 2011.

It is a well known fact, that Mr. King is the only US lawmaker, on record, to raise funds for a foreign terrorist organization. The money went straight to the now embattled Libyan leader, Qaddafi. Qaddafi in turn, provided the IRA with bombs and explosives. Qaddafi`s main reason, was to settle a score with Margaret Thatcher, for allowing US jets to attack Libya in 1985, from US bases in the UK.

It was fascinating to read a story by Ed Moloney, in the February 19, 2011 issue of The Irish Times, on King’s hearing. The report reveals who Peter King really is. The story’s first paragraph says it all. It states: ” Not so many years ago, the BBC banned him from the airwaves, for his terrorist sympathies. A judge threw him out of a Belfast court, because he was a “collaborator,” with the terrorists on trial, and the FBI was opening his mail because of his views. The US secret service once listed him as a threat, during a presidential visit to his neighborhood.” Why does the German expression, “the donkey is calling the others long ears” springs into mind?

Finally, if Rep. King has his way, he will introduce a law, requiring every

Muslim in America, to wear a GPS tracking bracelet at all times. He will even propose that the government bug Muslims in their homes, workplaces and places of worship. Maybe even opening internment camps. That said, this retired Muslim veteran, and father of a former US soldier, urges every red-blooded American to reject King’s hearing as witch hunt and, to say NO to Peter King.

This display of Peter King is standing on the front yard of our house in Westerville and remain there until his Mickey Mouse Hearing is over. These images were send to the Associated Press office. Feel free to forward to your contact or by using face book, twitter, and etc.

Rep. King poses a threat not only to Americas’ Muslims, but to our national security. He ignored an appeal letter from 51 community based organizations, by stating publicly ,” it not worthy of his response.” He was elected to office and supported by American tax-payers like you and I. This man should be challenged and exposed.

I understand that this display might be offensive and distasteful for some. But the lies he has been telling about Muslims for the last 10 years are far worse in comparison. One example: he stated recently that Muslims in America are not loyal and patriotic citizens and implied that “Muslims living in America are not truly Americans.” What a moron!

In the aftermath of the epic AIPAC scandal and the allegations accusing staff at AIPAC love for porn and prostitutes, KABOBfest Investigative Journalist Chaim Sugarman obtained a highly classified list of the rumored AIPAC prostitutes, this list is being made public for the first time. Naturally like most prostitutes, price matters. The higher their price the more fun the experience. Here is the Leaked list of the AIPAC Prostitutes:

Senator Joseph Lieberman ($1,228,010)

Senator John McCain ($823,267)

Senator Debbie Ann Stabenow ($308,553)

Senator Arlen Specter ($277,600)

Congressman Eric Cantor ($180,650)

Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen ($147,857)

Senator Charles Schumer ($158,749)

Ray Hanania (A dozen donuts)

Congresswoman Shelley Berkley ($115,501)

Bibi Netanyahu (Invite him to speak at your Gala)

While Senator Joe Lieberman made the most money and he did not even have to be good looking or young. AIPAC high end prostitutes come from all political ideologies which speaks volumes of AIPAC non discriminating taste. In an attempts to explain the the situation to us, we talked to professor Nathan Lane from Upper Arizona University ” Senator Joe Lieberman seems to always take calls from AIPAC” , “which explains his large chest”.

KABOBfest Investigative Journalist Chaim Sugarman confirms, AIPAC’s move favorite porn sites involve Senator McCain screwing the Republican party and Senator Joseph Lieberman playing hard to get to the Democratic party and fingering their leadership. Famed blogger and AIPAC critic M.J. Rosenberg stated, “I am not going into the details except to say that with all the illicit goings on at AIPAC (this is a X rated document), it is hard to believe it had the time to intimidate the entire US Congress into permanent submission.”

By Mahmoud El-Yousseph
October 25, 2010

In the small Tennessee town of Cordova sits Heartsong Church, who welcomed their Muslim neighbors in a time of distress. The church’s act of generosity is deeply gratifying to me as a Muslim.

This story was not found in mainstream media, but rather on an Arabic website whose name translates as “incoming traffic,” and was filled with heartwarming pictures of the event.

It all began shortly before the holy month of Ramadan, when the mosque across the street from Heartsong could not meet its renovation deadline in time for evening prayers, or “taraweeh.” So the imam asked the church’s pastor, Dr. Steve Stone, if his congregation could use the church for their prayers.
What makes this noble act by this man of God unique is that it happened during mass anti-Muslim hysteria that swept through our country last summer. Violent crimes targeting American Muslims, their homes and institutions were at a peak and the media was obsessed with so-called pastor Terry Jones of Florida who threatened to burn copies of the Holy Qur’an on 9/11.

It is ironic how Jones managed to capture international media attention with his provocative act, as well as posting a sign in front of his church that read, “Islam is Evil.” On the other hand, Heartsong put up a sign that read “Welcome to our new Muslim neighbors.”

Had the media devoted the same amount of time and energy to the Heartsong story, people in the Muslim world would not be chanting, “Death to America,” but would have waved Old Glory instead.

Pastor Snow has 800 followers, whereas pastor Jones had only a few dozen. I spoke to Dr. Snow by phone to express my gratitude and visited the Church’s website and his own blog. I learned a lot.

This man of God lost 14 members as result of his act of kindness, but gained more. Among the newcomers was a total stranger by the name of Richard, who wrote the pastor to say, “Your act is an inspiration to me. It has been over 30 years since I regularly attended church, but I may join Sunday.”

Nadeem, a man from Memphis’s Muslim community was among 100 Muslims who attended the prayer at Heartsong. He wrote, “Heartsong to our community is now well known as the house of love and respect for our (Islam) and other religions.” Nadeem, who was deeply moved by the hospitality that he and his Muslim friends received at Heartsong, reminded Pastor Stone of a similar story where Christians showed true Christian love to Muslims by stating, “When our Prophet asked the persecuted Muslims to migrate to Ethiopia, then ruled by the Christian King, Negus, he provided them a home and respectful welcome.”

Not all the reaction was positive. An angry Helen Edwards wrote to Dr. Stone, “I hope you will be the first one on those savages’ list for beheading.”

By the end Ramadan, Heartsong’s congregation invited their Muslim neighbors for dinner. The guests brought flowers in gratitude to their hosts. People hugged each other with tears of joy in their eyes. Above all, they referred to each other as “brother” and “sister.”

Pastor Stone eloquently explained his church’s decision in one of his interviews: “This place does not belong to us; it’s God’s place and we’re just sharing.” Pastor Stone and his congregation have welcomed Muslims for the love of Christ, peace be upon him, who said to “love thy neighbor as thyself.”
